The Gameweek rolls on with Monday night football under lights and a clash at St Mary’s made all the more spicy by last week’s shock dismissal of Nigel Adkins. The Mauricio Pochettino era at Southampton starts tonight, then, handing him a tough baptism against David Moyes’ rugged Everton outfit.

Fantasy managers will have eyes on the hat-stand attacking talents of Marouane Fellaini, with backers of Leighton Baines hoping for some set-piece joy and raids down the left. As for the Saints, Rickie Lambert will carry the burden of scoring the goals for his new boss and, with plenty holding tight after his double Gameweek success, he carries decent Fantasy interest going into tonight’s match.

Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to follow their fortunes for those who fancy some real-time banter.

The team news from St Mary’s finds the new manager make two changes which come as no surprise: both Rickie Lambert and Gaston Ramirez earn recalls to the starting lineup having been benched for the 2-2 draw at Chelsea. Steven Davis and Jay Rodriguez drop out to make way. As for the visitors, they make one change as Victor Anichebe gives way to Steven Naismith. The big news for the Toffees is that the live-wire Kevin Mirallas is fit enough for a return to the bench.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I absolutely despise this bonus point system and how it operates in 0-0 draws. Despite being the biggest threat, Lambert will most likely get nothing for trying to win the game, while some defender (Baines) who may or may not have had any impact on denying Lambert will get the BP's.

There isn't much logic! I'm just venting because it sounded to me like Lambert should have had 1-2, and a defender will get the plaudits because he struck the crossbar (off target shot technically), and therefore saving the defenders clean sheet.

Ignore me, just preferred the surety in the old BP's in this kind of a game, striker, or most threatening player would get BP's for endeavour at the very least.

Football's a maddening game, I get 1 CS out of Baines from 18 GWs, including a last minute defensive slip when they're leading WBA 3-0..

43 points behind mini league leader who is playing his WC this GW.

I was going to play mine this week too but held back when I saw him activate it on Saturday evening.
