This is a Saturday morning cursed by uncertainty, even before we’ve confronted the void presented by the daunting Gameweek 29. With potential injuries and very real suspensions biting into our squads, few Fantasy managers will be approaching this morning’s deadline without at least one of two concerns rattling around in their heads.

Our Saturday Surgery chatroom is here to welcome those currently toying with quandaries, offering a platform to consult your peers in real-time as we get closer to crossing the white line.

With no early kick-off, our Dugout Discussion will follow around 2.30 but the preamble is limbering up before that – we rinse through the morning papers in just over half an hour.

      Why?

      Hernandez won't start against Madrid, but can put Norwich to the sword today. SAF won't want to leave Pea out altogether so will statr him today.

      RVP gets a run out later on to get his groove back for Tues.

        Yea I think both are pretty integral to their respective teams.

        Bale sure does have the form, and a derby is always good for goals

        But I always thought the golden rule was to captain a striker over midfielder when in doubt

      I think it's much easier for Mata NOT to be involved in a win than Bale for their respective teams.

      not sure...I think Rafael and Rooney will start if SAF has any plans to try playing Rooney out wide in front of Rafael again to counter Ronaldo..Prior to the game at the Bernabau he played Rooney in front of Rafael to do a job on Mirallas as a kind of warm up for Ronaldo. I really can't see him going in cold on his formation for midweek....That of course opens the door for RVP to start...

        Hmmmm not sure on this. Stopping Everton and Norwich not the same challenge, and I think the risk of injury will take precedent over trying out formations.
