There are no brown envelopes in sight; this “bung” is firmly placed in my nasal passages as I clamber from my man-flu grief pit to sit alongside Granville and take my Gameweek medicine. After seeing me off by 21 points, it’s only fair I gave my co-host his moment of glory, regardless of being short of match fitness.

Somehow we end up arguing about Robin van Persie once again, before taking a gander at the bandwagons rolling and preview the weekend’s action the only way we know how: by rambling endlessly and singling out some dubious player picks along the way.

Get your repeat prescription via this link or cure your ailments via the easy to swallow player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Also was the game changer midweek, came in, two assists. Boom.

If only all these guys were available this week!!!...

This would be surely be the sweetest of all wildcards:

    Boruc
    Coleman, Collins Vidic, Lovren
    Coutinho, Wallcott, Barkley
    RVP, Benteke, Suarez

    (Davis - Ravel, Brady, Burner)

    Lost at bottom of page

Taking out Ivanovich for Colllins for a hit

    Advantages

    1) Dont have to play Chester away to Man c Collins should score more points than Chester reducing the cost of the hit , and there probably a 50% chance he will outscore Chester by 4 or more points
2)) It frees up cash for next week enabling Dzeko to Rooney for free ,
    3) Reduces the need to wildcard next week
    4) I want Collins long term

    Disadvantages

    1) Costs 4 points (but probably less)
    2) Still leaves Toure in team

    Yay or Nay?

          I've already got in Reid.

Man City against Newcastle the other week with their shaky defence, City looked like scoring on every attack; same for the game against Hull.

I believe Chester will get minus. Clean Sheet = Bonus.

Probably gonna go with Collins for a hit, fixtures are a bit better than evertons and he's a bit cheaper. Toure is sure to drop in price over the weekend and I reckon it's important to play the money game a bit early in the season so you are more flexible later on.

+ 1 , but I think Coleman could be essential but I'm sick of missing Collins Cs ,
I don't think I have any increases / drops tonight (total Fpl) so I'll monitor total fplfriday night.

Thanks all I'm determined to take hit as its long term planning - toure can be bought in again on return - I'm genuinely torn between both ,it's the price rises that will catch me my next move is :
Shaw 4.5 > Colman / Collins ( have Boruc ) just a case of which is more necessary to avoid hikes

I have Bent as well and I'm keeping him for a 10 wk minimum no matter what (except injury of course)
I absolutely sure he'll outscore every fwd below 8m if he gets the games, he just scores goals. Reminds me of Andy Cole, not elegant but does the job

Yeah, but its only 'MY' logic 🙂

from Silva I'm expecting a goal and an assist or 2 assists with a cleanie and a BP thrown in. I think they'll hit Hull for 4 or 5.

But it is RVP so you kind of have to captain him eh

I may have misinterpreted your first reply anyway. First time I read it, I thought it was laced with sarcasm.
Second time reading I think I may be wrong. Apologies for my response if I took you up incorrectly.
I think Vidic has to prove his fitness after so long out. If Moyes sticks with Vidic for the PL then your choice above looks really good to me except for Mertesacker, I prefer Reid at WH.
              Best of luck the wknd!
