With leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports and Sun Dream Team games as well as a link up with PlayON there is plenty of opportunity for our community to get involved across a wide range of competitions.  In our latest Fantasy Football Scout round up, we profile this week’s league leaders.

Fantasy Premier League

A Gameweek 2 score of 55 was enough for Stumanchu to retain top spot in our  Fantasy Premier League (FPL) mini-league. He now has 186 points and climbs to third place overall thanks to his captaincy of Roberto Soldado and eight point hauls from Olivier Giroud and Kolo Toure. Tang Window, who captained Edin Dzeko, takes second place and sits four points behind our leader, while James Martin, who is in third place on 177 points, was another to captain Dzeko last week; he also had Tottenham’s Kyle Walker amongst his other top performers. The code to join our FPL league, which is top of the league of leagues, is 1580-1106.

Ross Gillard, who scored 66 points this week,  is now sitting top of our Fantasy Football Scout Members league in the FPL game. He has a total score of 175 and sits in 130 place overall, with his decision to captain Giroud proving decisive. Sam Gillespie is equal on points with Ross, but lies in second after taking a points hit in Gameweek 2. Third placed James Floyd is close behind on 172 points – James’s leftfield selection of Sunderland’s Emmanuele Giaccherini, who accrued 9 points, proved a smart move.

Last week’s Fantasy Football Scout Contributors and Moderators league leader Mark was among those left disappointed by Robin Van Persie. His resolute allegiance to the Dutchman saw him slump to fifth, with last year’s Contributors league victor and no-RVP advocate Andy moving to joint first alongside Green Windmill. Torres Magic hangs on to his third place with a total score of 144, although Granville is hot on his heels with a score of 139.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

With a total points haul of 269 Josie O’Neil moves from second to first in our Fantasy Football Scout league in the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game. Mary Humberstone moves from third to second with a score of 264 and last week’s league leader Leanne Dean falls to joint third with Nick Whitrid on 260 points. Leanne’s decision to field exclusively Chelsea and Aston Villa players is set to see her either slip further or force her to make several transfers this week. As with last week, we continue to top Sky’s league of leagues.

The winner of our Sky league wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

The Sun Dream Team

Heavy investment in Arsenal and Tottenham helped Lee Walpole secure first place in our Sun Dream Team league. He has nine players from the North London rivals, with Tottenham striker Roberto Soldado’s 28 points  proving vital to his  points tally of 196. Charles Mouzon, who at one point last season was number one in the FPL game, is in second with 188 points thanks to Daniel Sturridge’s 34 points and similar investment in Tottenham’s assets. In third lies Tim Mongiat on 187 points. Tim’s star players include Soldado and Arsenal’s Kieron Gibbs. To join visit  The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

PlayOn £2 Game

In our exclusive Fantasy Football Scout PlayON £2 Game Jamie Boyd claimed first place and winnings of £87 thanks to points hauls from Sturridge, David Silva, Charlie Adam and Ryan Shawcross. Andrew Foskett grabbed second place and winnings of £58, and third-placed Karl Pickard enjoys £34.51 haul. In case you missed them, our PlayON player picks for this weekend can be found right here.

    Hello lads!

I can't decide who to bench from these three:

-Clyne - I'm quite sure he will have his first start of the season and has potential to get more than just the CS bonus.

-Moxey - Much the same as Clyne, not so much of a threat offensively compared to Clyne though but home game against poor scoring Sunderland could also bring CS.

-Kim - Could Cardiff do it again? At least they showed the scoring potential last time.

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers!

Because I think Clyne and Moxey will score more points.

Kim hasn't looked like doing anything in his 2 matches.

Kim looked good against City I have to admit that. The run in to the box he made wich lead to goal was excellent. But then again is he better option than Moxey and/or Clyne?

I'm leaning towards this. Cardiff might score one or two but is Kim going to be involved in those? Who knows. And they also might get nothing done. Everton seems solid.

Walcott for me, more explosive than silva, and his fixture likely to be higher scoring than lambert's.

Got Collins, M Turner & Yoshida as defenders, looking like 10 man as Yoshida yet to play.

Take a -4 hit to get in a DEF up to 5.1 in value?

    Repost.

Hey, guys. What's up. Couple of questions:

    1. Should I sell Cech for someone or play Boruc? I see Boruc is in the scout picks, so I guess he's expected to be good.

    2. If I hold GK transfer I have two free trades to sell two of Haz/Ramires/Benteke. Right now I am thinking Haz & Ramires -> Cazorla & Kim (or someone else for up to 5.6)

    What do you think?

I have Cech and Boruc. Not selling Cech just yet, but if I did, it'd cost me 4. Still I think Boruc has a decent chance of a clean sheet/

I think your Cazorla & 5.6 plan is good.

I've been so close to brining in Wilshere a fair few times, I really rate him as a player but I've got reservations that he'll be a Modric, assisting the assister, not really scoring many points FPL-wise

Zabaleta - Toure - Coleman (Chester, Ivanovic)
    Walcott - Snodgrass - Mirallas - Silva (R.Morrison)
    Sturridge - Soldado - Dzeko

    - I've already used my free transfer (Hazard -> Silva)
    - 0,9 in the bank
    - Last chanches for Snodgrass and Mirallas?
    - Thumbs up for Toure
    - Who should get the armband?

Lambert was my third option, but though bent/dzeko where more likely scorers. Could just leave Lukaku and play my cheap midfielder (Barkley) but Lukakus value is dropping like stone!!!!

RMT is strongly advising me (5.77 to 4.95 )
to captain Walcott over Aguero , 😯

I think if Liverpool are probably going to sign Sakho then I may as well sell Toure
    now, rather than playing Chester.

Injury or not he may well end up down the pecking order by the time he's fit

Wildcard team for GW4 along these lines:

    Migs 4.0
    Vidic Mert Toure 2 x 4.0
    Silva Walcott 3 x 5.0
    RVP Soldado Sturridge

Will play those 9 those each week and 2 of the 5 cheapies

    Any suggestions for improvement?

The bench fillers would likely be:

        Chester Ward

        Barkley Brady Whittingham

I am 0.4 over budget currently for this team but can hopefully make that on the WC

IF (big if) the defenders scoop multiple BAPS again this week will it change your mind about 2 x 4.0 ?.....I did an early W/C to do DGW's for an RVP team and am already having second thoughts....

I think this is the closest I've come to a balanced team with RVP in it.

Upgrading the defence anymore would sacrifice the already weak midfield too much.

I need to transfer haz out to field 11, but already have wally and silva. I fancy a bold (maybe stupid) move to cazorla or snoddy with his fixtures, is there a more sensible mid that look a good mid term option?

I've got cazorla and am just waiting for him to catch fire - he was the same last season, started slowly but then picked up. however he tends to score in bursts, so he really needs to be a season keeper (he ended up 3rd top scoring mf last season. The problem if knowing when to captain him
