With leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports and Sun Dream Team games as well as a link up with PlayON there is plenty of opportunity for our community to get involved across a wide range of competitions.  In our latest Fantasy Football Scout round up, we profile this week’s league leaders.

Fantasy Premier League

A Gameweek 2 score of 55 was enough for Stumanchu to retain top spot in our  Fantasy Premier League (FPL) mini-league. He now has 186 points and climbs to third place overall thanks to his captaincy of Roberto Soldado and eight point hauls from Olivier Giroud and Kolo Toure. Tang Window, who captained Edin Dzeko, takes second place and sits four points behind our leader, while James Martin, who is in third place on 177 points, was another to captain Dzeko last week; he also had Tottenham’s Kyle Walker amongst his other top performers. The code to join our FPL league, which is top of the league of leagues, is 1580-1106.

Ross Gillard, who scored 66 points this week,  is now sitting top of our Fantasy Football Scout Members league in the FPL game. He has a total score of 175 and sits in 130 place overall, with his decision to captain Giroud proving decisive. Sam Gillespie is equal on points with Ross, but lies in second after taking a points hit in Gameweek 2. Third placed James Floyd is close behind on 172 points – James’s leftfield selection of Sunderland’s Emmanuele Giaccherini, who accrued 9 points, proved a smart move.

Last week’s Fantasy Football Scout Contributors and Moderators league leader Mark was among those left disappointed by Robin Van Persie. His resolute allegiance to the Dutchman saw him slump to fifth, with last year’s Contributors league victor and no-RVP advocate Andy moving to joint first alongside Green Windmill. Torres Magic hangs on to his third place with a total score of 144, although Granville is hot on his heels with a score of 139.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

With a total points haul of 269 Josie O’Neil moves from second to first in our Fantasy Football Scout league in the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game. Mary Humberstone moves from third to second with a score of 264 and last week’s league leader Leanne Dean falls to joint third with Nick Whitrid on 260 points. Leanne’s decision to field exclusively Chelsea and Aston Villa players is set to see her either slip further or force her to make several transfers this week. As with last week, we continue to top Sky’s league of leagues.

The winner of our Sky league wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

The Sun Dream Team

Heavy investment in Arsenal and Tottenham helped Lee Walpole secure first place in our Sun Dream Team league. He has nine players from the North London rivals, with Tottenham striker Roberto Soldado’s 28 points  proving vital to his  points tally of 196. Charles Mouzon, who at one point last season was number one in the FPL game, is in second with 188 points thanks to Daniel Sturridge’s 34 points and similar investment in Tottenham’s assets. In third lies Tim Mongiat on 187 points. Tim’s star players include Soldado and Arsenal’s Kieron Gibbs. To join visit  The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

PlayOn £2 Game

In our exclusive Fantasy Football Scout PlayON £2 Game Jamie Boyd claimed first place and winnings of £87 thanks to points hauls from Sturridge, David Silva, Charlie Adam and Ryan Shawcross. Andrew Foskett grabbed second place and winnings of £58, and third-placed Karl Pickard enjoys £34.51 haul. In case you missed them, our PlayON player picks for this weekend can be found right here.

Like Vidic in there, clever. It is a nice team. Fwiw, I see considerable evidence for Dzeko to start, so you could go him over Lambert. Swap should be straightforward later if anything happens.

      would rather Dzeko than Lambert

Ben Arfa gives me the shivers (bad ones), unless Ba returns or FPL starts awarding points for off target shots into the stands

Would rather change Ben Arfa into Michu with a little money to spare to flip Michu into Hazard when Hazard turns good

Not sure why Vidic is on your bench - play the man

Hehe, take your point about Barfa but he's really in there as a differential punt to make up lost ground. If you're having 8 shots a game you'll eventually score. Not an issue if he fails, as you say > Haz / Michu

It'd a difficult one really, I can see both Cardiff scoring against Everton and Liverpool scoring against United so I've gone Coleman simply for the goal/assist potential

with Haz now at 9.3, and maybe falling a little more during the int'l break, seems almost too obvious to wait until the last day of the int'l break and then go Coutinho -> Hazard

a few weeks ahead of myself, but comparing the prices of Oscar, Coutinho, and Hazard, Hazard seems like a way better value for the season already

or am I just stuck in last year?

    Toure, Chester, Whittake, (Whittaker, B.turner)
    Walcott, Mirallas, Nolan, Coutinho
    RVP (c), Dzeko, Soldado

My plan for next game week is to bring in Lampard for Mirallas or Nolan. Ideally I'd like to keep Toure in the long term, as well

    (a) Toure to Reid/Collins or Dawson (FT)
    (B) do nothing and hope he plays

    Morning DZ, I'm so screwed:

    Mignolet
    Toure, Shaw, Murner, Collins
    Silva, Walcott(vc), Mirallas
    Soldado, Lambert, Negredo(c)

    Lewis, JWP, Chester, Lampard

    3m in bank, FT used.

A lot of the City forum think Negredo will start but then some of them have Rodwell and Kolarov in the lineup...

This may be what the City fans want to see rather than what will happen but quite a few were saying Dzeko and Negredo should both start. As Hull will park the bus having 2 strikers in the penalty box could help avoid the issues they had trying to attack against Cardiff.

It is, but I can't shake the desire to captain Negredo this week. I'm on holiday so won't be looking at the football enough to stress about it if it goes wrong.

    Problem: no goalie this week.
Have cech and 4 mil guy who doesn't play (can't remember his name!)
Do I sell cech for? I already have Ivanovic
Is there a cheapie keeper who I could buy for 4.3 who might get points?

      save your FT

chances are you buy a GK that gets you 2pts at best

and no, there's not a starting keeper under 4.5

Evs, who did quite well last season, started the season without a goalkeeper last year

      don't sweat it

was just wondering if Mike Ashley is the worse owner in the Prem

looked at his wikipedia page and notice he paid as much for Newcastle (135 million) as Spurs are probably going to spend in this transfer window

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Ashley_(businessman)

in thinking about it, I suppose Gareth Bale is worth about 75% of Newcastle at the moment

    Toure, Chester, Whittake, (Baker, B.turner)
    Walcott, Mirallas, Nolan, Coutinho
    RVP (c), Dzeko, Soldado

My plan for next game week is to bring in Lampard for Mirallas or Nolan. Ideally I'd like to keep Toure in the long term, as well
