Having failed to score in Arsenal’s first four fixtures, Theo Walcott’s start to the season has been a major disappointment. While Olivier Giroud racks up the goals, the Gunners winger has yet to get off the mark and with Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey offering alternatives across the price points in the Fantasy games, Walcott’s case for inclusion in our five-man midfields hasn’t exactly been a convincing one.

With Arsene Wenger’s side primed for a superb run of fixtures which sees them face just two of last term’s top six in the next 10 Gameweeks, investment in Arsenal’s main assets seems a sensible tactic.       Giroud. Coutinho out injured for Pool will surely effect Sturridge in terms of chances created, whereas Giroud still has Walcott and Ozil.

        3rd.....what's your stats saying about Lampard to play at the weekend? And also Ivanovic & Hazard. Any noticeable trends?

          Haven't a scooby I'm afraid, I'm not sure if stats will tell you much about Mourinho's thinking.

          Just speaking anecdotally, Ivanovic seems to have nailed down the right back slot, and Hazard has played every minute so far in the PL. And Lampard... maybe see if he plays the full 90 tonight.

    Currently languishing around the 1.1m mark after a poor start, and need some advice as to whether you think I should WC this lot (coutinho injury is a factor).

    Current team for GW5 having already spent an early FT on bringing in HBA is:

    Boruc (Davis)

    Turner / Cole / Collins (Shaw, Chester)

    Walcott / HBA / Brady / Jedinak (Coutinho)

    RVP / Soldado / Giroud

    If WC'ing I'd be looking at something like:

    Boruc / 4.0

    Evra / Vert / Shaw / Williams / Wilson

    Walcott / HBA / Moses / Eriksen / Jedinak

    Rooney / Sturridge / Giroud

    I know I have missed out on price rises earlier this week but feel I need to take action now to stop the rot.

    What do you reckon, WC?

      I was looking at Arnautovic too. Mainly as a way to afford Soldado/Benteke > Suarez.

      Couple that with my dislike/distrust for Rooney and I'd go C).

      This however will be the only vote for C) you will get.

      Too much of a Rooney fapfest around here.

      B. Rooney is on fire... as is Sturridge... and the both have a nice run of fixtures. Moyes gave Rooney a 30 goal target, so he will play.

      If you can afford .1, Kassami may be worth a punt. With injuries to Bent, he will likely play in the forward role.
