In the first instalment of a new, weekly article for members, we conduct some in-depth statistical analysis into one of the most crucial aspects in any given Gameweek – just who we entrust with the Fantasy armband. This week the options are plentiful – Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham all feature at home, City travel to basement-dwellers Sunderland, while a couple of Belgians are also in the running as clear captain contenders.     What 4.3 defender is LIKELY to get the most points week in, week out?

      Points week in, week out?
      No-one

      But players who are starting most weeks include:

      B Turner (Cardiff) 4.1
      Amorebieta (Fulham) 4.3
      Rosenior (Hull) 4.0
      Ward (CPL) 4.0

      But I wouldn't touch the Fulham or Palace defence with a bargepole. So Turner or Rosenior. Turner more nailed on, but Rosenior has a better defence
