Sunday brings the Gameweek to a close with a trio of matches featuring an array of Fantasy talent. Things get rolling with a pair of lunchtime kick-offs, as Villa host United and Swansea make the trip to Carrow Road to face Chris Hughton’s Norwich. That’s followed by the headline act, as Andre Villas-Boas looks to continue the Spurs revival against a Liverpool unit weakened by a string of injuries.

While the press will be focused on David Moyes, Fantasy managers will be more interested in Wayne Rooney’s performance. With a potential absence for Sergio Aguero looming, the United striker could make himself “essential” over the Christmas period if he can produce in the midlands. With Michu expected to earn a run-out at Norwich, we’ll have the opportunity to assess whether he can join both David Silva and Theo Walcott on our midfield Christmas list, while at 4pm, all eyes will be on Luis Suarez as he looks to overcome the absence of skipper Steven Gerrard and strike partner Daniel Sturridge against the Spurs back four.

Look to our Twitter feed for the latest teamsheet bulletins, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open and will remain available throughout today’s three fixtures.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Go back a few more and you've got Alonso & Mascherano anchoring the midfield 😉

The Liverpool midfield has been poor since 09'.

Hmm what has improved in OKC from last season, when they almost got swept by the average Memphis? Only the young Steven Adams while losing one of the best scorers in the game Westbrook hobbling and shooting career worst %ges. They have no chance, I think they will not even get to meet SAS or Portland. But get knocked out again early to a randomer like Dallas.

SAS need to keep healthy ofcourse, but if they do they are a lock for the finals

once suarez inevitably finishes on 5 points it will be a funny contrast in captains and how they got their scores.

rooney, wonderful little burst and through-ball.
hazard, decent game but assist was a mundane square pass to a wonderstrike.
aguero, set for a minimum of 6 points after just 15 minutes, rest of the match one big trolling session against him with every goal taking another bp off him, then missing out on a penalty the cherry on the icing on the trolled cake.
lukaku, got hit on the arm/chest 🙂

Pretty amazing that two seasons ago people were saying Suarez could only really play as a second striker rather than the main front man because of his finishing (think he had 6 goals in 20 odd apps). Hard to see past him as the best in Europe at the moment, as an out and out striker anyway.

Irrelevant whether its captain Suarez or not, it's only the 86 that matters. Either way, it's a decent score.

very good but played deep to make up for Giggs' lack of legs. Played brilliantly though, just wasn't high enough up the pitch

    Not having Suarez (c) hurts.
    Selling Mignolet for Krul hurts
Taking -4 to do Chico to Olsson hurts

My respect for Rooney as an all-around player has soared in the past 12 months or so -- how many superstar strikers would do what he does in dropping back, regardless if another mega-personality like RVP is on the pitch or not? He just wants to boss the game and doesn't seem to care if that means being the creator or the finisher. Top stuff.

Rooney has one of the best work rates I've ever seen for any player, let alone a striker. We know his finishing, shooting and vision are all superb, but to see him fizzing long balls across the field from defense, lobbing passes through the heart of midfield and playing diagonal balls from the touchline is truly impressive. His tackling, closing-down and tenacity is world-class.

Could play as a striker, center-midfielder, CAM or defensive midfielder. Can take corners, free kicks and penalties, long shots, crosses, through balls and lob balls. Just world class.

Un-believable. Suarez had been killing me for several weeks while I didn't have him. I've got him now, but he is still killing me because he is not my captain this week. Ridiculous.

If Spurs are going to sack AVB (and I'm not saying that they should) then now is the time to do it so the new man has the Jan window to play with and a few games leading up to it. Having said that I think it would be silly to sack him now given the backing he was given in the summer.

Spurs made a profit in the summer (and in fact have made a net profit over the past three years in terms of transfers).
