Yes, we know this week’s battle for the armband is done and dusted. With 86% of the votes cast, Luis Suarez is the undisputable favourite as Liverpool prepare for the visit of Cardiff on Saturday. The Uruguayan is hunting his fifth successive double-figure haul at Anfield and it’ll be a brave, or perhaps desperate, Fantasy manager who goes against the grain. Once again, our midweek regular for members sifts through the statistics to ascertain whether there really is anyone else worth considering:

Moyes wouldn't have wanted to play Rooney tonight anyway. Now, imagine if Rooney was sat on the bench and United lost. Saying he is injured is a fall back incase United lose without him I reckon.
He will play at the weekend 🙂Open Controls -

Theo Walcott VS Manchester City...
Absolutely LETHALOpen Controls-
I didn't really understand the data, but I did like all of those red arrows pointing towards the goal
Open Controls -
Wouldn't have expected him to be on the left side that much, impressive though.

Compare this chap to the likes of Yaya Toure - The casuals favourite...

Case. Rested.

Who do we think will score more points from now until the season's end?
A) Ramsey
or
B) WalcottOpen Controls -
I can see Walcott playing as a striker this weekend.
He'll destroy us 🙁Open Controls-
I'm finding it very hard to predict your line up, any ideas?
Open Controls -
my dilemma is whether or not he'll out score the biter
Open Controls -
Look above, Walcott's average position was about 15 yards further forward than Giroud.

Aguero -> Negredo done. Now Williams -> Evra or Rafael?

Rooney's groin injury, assessed, in detail, by Dr RonH:
Use symptoms (or the lack of symptoms) to determine your comeback timetable, not a certain number of days or weeks. Generally, speaking, Grade 1 symptoms usually disappear within a week; Grade 2 symptoms last 2-3 weeks; and Grade 3 symptoms can persist for 6-8 weeks or longer.
As the fat, ugly looking, granny shagging dunce, walked off the pitch on Sunday, that would indicate a grade 1 strain. Therefore, as the next game would be 6 days later, there is a 76.32% chance that he will have recovered.
However, as he wouldnt have trained all week, & they have a game on Boxing Day, Moyes will not risk him. Especially as RVP is already injured.
To conclude: Rooney will be on the bench this weekend, only deployed in an emergency. He will then start the game on Boxing Day, away to Hull.Open Controls-
I think Moyes will play him if at all possible. He knows wins are crucial right now and not playing Rooney from the start is a risk.
More likely to play him and then take him off when winning safely.Open Controls -
Is that you facer?

"fat, ugly looking, granny shagging dunce" 😆

Some unhappy spurs fans on my train out of London!

Speaking of spurs, anyone fancy a Lamela/Eriksen punt?

Might be useful if they actually play

Aguero and Sessegnon to...
A) Negredo and Mirrallas
B) Lukaku and Silva
C) Negredo and Silva

Can anyone tell me HOW Yaya Toure is scoring so well in FPL?
It seems so lucky to me...2 x Penalties after Aguero subbed, and barely has a shot on target... yet he scores goals consistently...
Dammit.Open Controls-
Also pretty deadly on FKs this season.
Open Controls-
Hoping they have ceased... None for a while if I recall correctly?
I tend to block out the trauma when he scores.
I constantly tell people at work how he isn't a good fpl prospect, how his stats are bad.... and all I get is 'You're wrong, he's getting points'
Worst thing is... They are correct :'(Open Controls -
Saw your earlier post turd re top scorers in FPL over years and I can see Suarez easy break the 300+ mark.
Hard to imagine Adeboy was once essential.Open Controls-
Should do, as long as he doesn't bugger off to Spain.
Ade was a must have once upon a time. 24 goals, 4 assists and 27 bonus points that season 🙂Open Controls

Think about.
Playing with a slight groin niggle on a cold wet and windy night in Stoke is only going to make it worse, a precautionary measure from Moyes to ensure he's fit for the remaining festive fixtures, imo. He'll start on Saturday and come off early if we're comfortable.Open Controls-
Highly unlikely he would have played any part if fit anyway,so the injury still remains a negative factor.
Open Controls -
Sorry son. He's injured. Suck it up
Open Controls -
Sounds about right Parm
Open Controls-
Not to me, it is very rare any player will be risked with a groin niggle, which basically changes nothing and even rarer he would last very long without doing real damage, Which changes nothing, he couldn't play due to injury.

Hope so...
Moyes is a douche bag when it comes to injuries 🙁Open Controls

Just done Rooney > Negredo.
If Negredo gets injured, I'm bringing in Maiga.Open Controls -

A few knocks and niggles. I hope so.

Glad I have a FT.
Problem is I have Rooney & Brady. 😕Open Controls -
Thoughts on bringing in Hooper for Aguero until January WC's? Cheers boys
Open Controls -
Negredo didn't play against Leicester.
Negredo wasn't on the bench against Leicester.
Pelligrini wasn't asked why this was the case by an interviewer.
Rooney is in the same, however an interviewer asked why this was the case.
I wouldn't kneejerk Negredo in for Rooney for a bit 😉 you never know....Open Controls -
-
A knock...
Clyne has a bloody 'knock', he hasn't played for 3 or so gameweeks.Open Controls
-
-
Rooney will play, he doesnt even have to be 100% to play as holding midfielder.
Joking aside, is this why he plays a lot deeper these days? Fitness problems? Legs have gone? It happened to torres and he had to adapt his gameOpen Controls -
Hi chaps
Do we think nasri will rise in price today?Open Controls -
Young's strike was very good. His crossing and general play was dire though 🙁
Evra on the other hand was superb and his finish was RVP-esque. If Moyes does get Baines in January, he's going to have a selection dilemma.
Now that Everton have an in form Oviedo, I can see the Baines move going ahead.Open Controls-
-
Maybe!
Open Controls

Didn't see a minute of today's game but I have seen the last few of United PL games and Evra has been an absolute joke to doing what his position title states - defend. I do not rate him as a total footballer one bit - that said, I own him on my FPL squad currently 🙂
Open Controls-
really? i am a united fan and i rate him as the 4th best in the league probably

Trade Brady to Mirallas for a hit?
Open Controls -
There's a certain symmetry to my striker transfers this season.
Sturridge->Suarez
Lukaku->Soldado->Lukaku
Dzeko->Benteke->Rooney->???Open Controls -
Nasri on the rise.
Get there son!Open Controls -

Why would Baines go from a team challenging for the title to a mid table team ....
Open Controls-
thats very funny and everything, but you can't honestly say that everton are likely to win more trophies in the next 5 years than man utd
