Yes, we know this week’s battle for the armband is done and dusted. With 86% of the votes cast, Luis Suarez is the undisputable favourite as Liverpool prepare for the visit of Cardiff on Saturday. The Uruguayan is hunting his fifth successive double-figure haul at Anfield and it’ll be a brave, or perhaps desperate, Fantasy manager who goes against the grain. Once again, our midweek regular for members sifts through the statistics to ascertain whether there really is anyone else worth considering:

So Redmond/Terry comes off the bench if Rooney does not start.. meh. i can live with that 🙂

Pablo to Silva/Walcott worth a hit? I own Ramsey, and I don't have City cover at all.

Team for GW17:
---------------Mignolet-----------------------
----Coleman ¤ Ward ¤ Distin---------
Shelvey ¤ Ozil ¤ Ramsey ¤ Hazard
--Rooney ¤ Suarez(C) ¤ Lukaku
Bench: Harper-Burner-Kim-Vlaar
1FT
0.3M in bank
Should I do?
A: Kim ➡ 4.6 midfielder, one of Redmond/Bannan
B: Vlaar ➡ M.Olsson/Bardsley
C: Ozil ➡ Walcott
D: Ozil ➡ Walcott and upgrade Kim for a 4 point hit(might be smart if Roopig doesnt play)
E: Please suggest something if you would want to do something else...
F: Save FT
Cheers! 🙂Open Controls-
F, I think. 2 FT's should come in quite handy.

Given the Rooney debacle, my bench order may become important - agree with this?
Panty
Evra, Ward, Terry
Mirallas, Ramsey, Nasri, Hazard
Suarez(c), Rooney(v), Lukaku
Davis, Ravel, Clyne, MOlssonOpen Controls-
Looking decent

Looks good to me, Jinswick.
What you reckon on mine?
Pantilimon
Terry, Coleman, Flanagan
Ozil, Hazard, Hazard, Bannan
Suarez, Rooney, Lukaku
Davis, Ravel, Williams, BurnerOpen Controls-
Double Hazard! 🙂
Looks good, although I might be tempted to go with Williams over Terry.Open Controls-
Oops, meant to be Ramsey, lol...
Yeah, Terry vs Williams is a tricky one. I've currently got it on Terry as I think both Chelsea and Swansea will concede, so basing it on the fact that Terry is more likely to get attacking points.Open Controls

I will try to play Clyne, bench order is MOlsson, Terry and then Ravel.
If Clyne can't play, I think Norwich has a far higher chance to get a CS than Terry, and MOlsson actually has some attacking threat that may give you an assist.
If you play Terry you can betting he gets a goal.
Ravel playing away at MU means that his positioning will be quite deep.Open Controls

Rooney will be fit! *touches wood*

Thought I would annoy my rivals by having Rooney come in autos in for Zab whilst armband jumps to Suarez, should make Mondays score jump quite a bit.

Would you start Clyne (TOT) or Terry (ars) this week?
Whilst Clyne's got the better fixture, he's been out for a few weeks so there's always a risk he gets a cameo. Also, Terry has the bigger goal threat. Gotta be Terry right?Open Controls-
Terry.

My squad is in perfect order (for the first time this year). With just the 1FT is it worth doing Rooney->Negredo? Extra cash can be used to beef up MF a bit next week, eg Brady->Cabaye maybe.

A) Martin Olsson

B) Ben TurnerOpen Controls-

Cardiff defence is tighter.
Norwich has a free toll gate at the back.Open Controls-
-
Norwich defence is tight at home and against lower table teams. It's just away against the big clubs that they concede a lot. If you remove the 4 matches (CHE, ars, MCI, LIV) in which you wouldn't have lined him up in any case, Norwich has conceded only 11 goals in the rest 12 matches, and just 5 in the rest of their 7 home matches. Remove those few bad games and their defence is pretty okay. With these fixtures, I would not count it out getting a Norwich defender.
While Cardiff has conceded more evenly against all teams, both teams have equal number of clean sheets: 3 home, 2 away.
I would rather have a Norwich defender, because you're more sure to avoid the big team and to get a clean sheet against the bad teams that they are going to play in nearby future.Open Controls
