Yes, we know this week’s battle for the armband is done and dusted. With 86% of the votes cast, Luis Suarez is the undisputable favourite as Liverpool prepare for the visit of Cardiff on Saturday. The Uruguayan is hunting his fifth successive double-figure haul at Anfield and it’ll be a brave, or perhaps desperate, Fantasy manager who goes against the grain. Once again, our midweek regular for members sifts through the statistics to ascertain whether there really is anyone else worth considering:

Evening lads.
What a pointless article.Open Controls-
Have to confess I didn't feel the need to read it.
Sorry Tommy 🙁Open Controls -
I want my money back!
Open Controls -
Not every week. Will be more important when he is playing city or Chelsea 🙂
Open Controls-
I know. 🙂
Just having a little dig at members. 😉Open Controls-
Wish I'd kept my receipt now! 😉

City conceded 3 v Arsenal, Chelsea just concede. Very few backed him v Spurs,

Not at all. If you were a member you'd be able to see that Tommy analyses the stats in detail. It has it's use, despite the conclusion being obvious.

Bear in mind rooney had a shin injury which was meant to be pretty bad

Would like to get your guys' thoughts:
I really think they should bring back the most captained statistic of every GW. But this time, they should limit the research to the top 100k. Now, I know of some ghost teams in the top 100k, but surely those teams won't affect the outcome of this. It would be also kind of cool if they could have a percentage of the players that were captained. I.e, the percent of the top 100k of players that captained the most capt player, the second, the third fourth and fifth. Would be a cool research IMO. I'm sure this week would be close to if not 100% of players captaining Suarez in the top 100k. What do you guys think of this?Open Controls-
Nevermind, I just realized smarty pants does this 😛

Rooney 😯
Holding firm. Had him months and will keep. He WILL NOT disrupt my transfer plans this week.
Just bench the B******!Open Controls-
Think I'll do the same.
Open Controls-
Agree. Unthinkable to take out Aguero and Rooney in the same week.
Did I see you say you are a railway engineer GB?Open Controls-
Yeah. I'm currently working in design for the signalling systems, but I still have to go out on track every now and then. The wind makes it very difficult, especially safety wise.
Open Controls-
Signalling? If it ain't broke...
No wonder you have so much time to post on here!Open Controls-
Each system is different believe it not. Depending on the line speed, capacity bend, amount of junctions...
We signal systems all over the world as well. Very busy in the office.Open Controls

Johnny Evans,Evra, Rafael and Welbeck playing in a meaningless midweek league cup tie?
I thought they would be saved for the Premier League fixtures. These players may be rotation candidates over the Xmas games.Open Controls-
-
Meaningless for Man Utd.
Sir Alex never bothered with the League Cup. Or the FA Cup, really.Open Controls
-
-
It's not meaningless, it's their best chance of a runners up medal this season 😉
Open Controls -
it's hardly meaningless at 1/4 final stages. so many pros go through career with no trophies.
Open Controls -
Or it could be that...
Evans starts because Vidic isn't fit and Rio can't play twice in a week so isn't in the squad today
Rafael starts because Smalling is playing CB and Jones is in midfield
Evra starts because he's Capt
Welbeck starts because Hernandez is too small to play as a lone striker and Rooney & RVP are both injured
Frankly, I think ALL of them are first choice over the Xmas periodOpen Controls

I was fully set on doing Aguero > Negredo until I started reading how much more sensible an option Rooney would be.
I blame you all!Open Controls -
We hope wayne will be fit for tomorrow.
I havnt seen wayne today so have on idea how he is
Moyes will say one of those in his fri presser , so predictable.Open Controls-
no idea

Wonder what odds you'd get on Rooney playing for Chelsea in Jan 2014 and Sept 2014.
Open Controls -
Feel an early second half goal incoming
Open Controls -
Rooney won't drop in price tonight. But Negredo will rise.
A tricky situation. However, I'll wait until the end of the week.Open Controls -

500 people have brought Rooney in, in the last hour. 🙂

% Chances of Rooney starting vs West Ham?Open Controls -
Roon will play in league game no sweat. Why risk him champions league spot is a must for Moyes i.e signing players and revenue
