Over the last couple of days, we’ve updated both the Career Hall of Fame and the Live version for members. The Career version now includes all new additions to the Fantasy Football Scout leagues and is viewable to all via this link or the top menu “HoF” link. This table will be updated every week with new entrants.

The Hall of Fame is a ranking system which we apply to everyone in our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. Essentially, it tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a “HoF rating” accordingly.

The “Live” version of the Hall of Fame, available to our Members, has been updated to include points earned in Gameweek 20. This will be updated with the latest rankings 24 hours after the conclusion of every Gameweek from this point on.

If you’re wondering what the Hall of Fame is all about, you can read below for a quick guide. Alternatively, you can view this movie to listen to Mark and Rate My Team’s Chris Atkinson talk you through it.

Live Hall of Fame Top 10

In the meantime, we thought we’d run the rule over those at the top following the update:

Site moderator Evs is the new number one in the Live Hall of Fame. Having finished fifth overall last year, he looks poised for yet another incredible season – he currently sits on 1,298 points, which is enough to earn him 1,846th spot overall with another 18 Gameweeks to go.

Ulrik Nylnad sits in second spot. His consistency over the past seven seasons in staggering – in six of those years, he’s finished inside the top 2,100, with his “worst” performance back in 2011/12, where he ended in 7,729th spot overall. Ulrik is currently situated around the 46,000 mark but with such an impressive history, you’d expect him to push on again.

Derek Simpson takes third spot. He ended last year in 38th position overall and has finished inside the top 4,000 in five of the last six seasons – at present, he’s just inside the 100,000 mark but has plenty time to make his mark.

In fourth, Rob Pitt has finished inside the top 1,000 in two of the last three years and is nicely poised around the 12K mark, whilst Chris Denbeigh is set for another outstanding season. He has top beaten the 2,5000 mark in six of the previous seven years and is currently situated in 2,559th spot overall.

Elsewhere in the top 10, Atiq Rahman is the highest of our featured managers in this season’s overall standings. A score of 1,304 points has helped him climb to 1,337th position – boosting his chances of finishing inside the top 5,000 for the sixth time in seven years. Pascal Evans has managed a top 1,000 finish in five of the previous seven but, currently sitting in 152,350th overall, has a task on his hands to repeat that feat.

What is the Hall of Fame?
In simple terms, this is as ranking system which can be applied to everyone in our Fantasy Premier League mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. The Hall of Fame tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a ranking according to the performances. We have a career table that updates every season and a live table that will be updated using the latest season data, after every Gameweek.

How is my rating calculated?
The “HoF Rating” is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each corresponding season weighted at roughly 80% that of the previous season. So, in other words, those who performed best in 2012/13 will receive a bigger HoF Rating boost from those who did best in 2007/08. The “HoF Ranking” even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow to rank alongside the veterans of the FPL.

How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up to our leagues, either the Fantasy Football Scout Classic League (1580-1106), or if you’re a member, the Members Classic League – the code is available on the dashboard of the Members Area.

How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL id.

What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the Fantasy Football Scout league and you’ll be removed on the next update.

When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated at the end of each season to display the latest rankings.

The Live version of the Hall of Fame is updated every week to use the latest season data. This version will only be available to our members in the Members Area. If you wish to get access to the live version, you can sign up as a member. Click here for details on upgrading your account or signing up.

    Swiss colleagues are saying that Salah to Liverpool isn't a done deal. The player flew back from Cairo to Switzerland yesterday to start training with FC Basel for the second half of the Swiss season.

    The noises about a possible move are coming from this Egyptian international team-mates, but not Swiss sources, who are also reporting interest in Salah from Bayer Leverkusen (the German club have contacted FC Basel about the player), VfL Wolfsburg and Atlético Madrid. Liverpool have made the most effort to sign Salah so far though.

        Walcott has more points per minute and has more of a track record before this season of attacking points. Throw in that a lot of people have doubled up with Szczesny and Kos/Mert then it's not that surprising.

    Hello, gents. Cant't sleep so playing around with my future WC team,

    Pretty standard stuff I guess:

    Szczesny 3.9
    Coleman Nastasic Evans Ward Chester
    Yaya Hazard Walcott Lallana Mutch
    Suarez Aguero Adebayor

    Don't want to ditch Rooney really, but would have to downgrade this team by alot to get him in. Also considering going for two rotating keepers instead of Szczesny.

    Any thoughts?

    Are Nasty and Evans both nailed on? If you are short of funds perhaps it would be better to upgrade one of them to a premium defender with guaranteed starts and then get a cheap 3rd defender to rotate with your other two existing ones.
    Arsenal defensive cover seems a priority for most - if you paid full price for your ARS keeper, maybe swap Evans to Kos/Sagna and get DDG for Szczesny.

    Szczesny --> DDG
    Evans --> Kos/Sagna
    Nasty --> budget defender

        The problem with Szczesny is that he doesn't get BP's, as Mert and Kos soak up any from defence - maybe Szczesny to Migs and either Nasty to Kos (keep Evans) or Nasty to Zab (downgrade Evans.)

          pool are hardly keeping cs, don't think migs is worth it at that price. I'd much rather have 2 rotating gk's

          and I'd rather have kos and probably azpi over evans and nasty.
          don't rate united defense too much either so nasty over evans if you have to pick. or even double up on arsenal defense with sagna and kos if you don't want azpi

      i'd prefer:

      2 cheap rotating gk's
      coleman kos azpi

        I think that Pool will benefit at the back from the return of Stevie G, hence the choice.

        Rotating keepers can be frustrating, especially if selecting teams struggling at the bottom if the PL. This GW just gone illustrates that.

          even when he was playing they only kept 4 cs in 15 games and 3 of those cs were 1-0 wins in the first three weeks. meaning since since the first 3 weeks they kept 1 cs in 12 with Gerrard. their 2 cs while Gerrard has been out is better than that in fact

          Haven't had time to look into rotations but something like boruc mannone should be fairly inexpensive and decent if soton get back to keeping cs like they did earlier in the season

          More likely that the return of Agger will tighten the defence up I think. If he keeps getting starts that is.

    Which is the correct explanation about January Wildcard period?

    # In this help of FPL page, it is mentioned that the January Wildcard can only be used after Gameweek 20 starts (1 Jan 11:30) until Gameweek 23 ends (1 Feb 11:30)
    # While in transfer page (wildcard explanation) of FPL page, it is mentioned that the January Wildcard can only be used after Gameweek 21 starts (1 Jan 11:30) until Gameweek 24 ends (2 Feb 11:30)

        If refer to the last one, we could use for GW25 (starts on 1 Feb 11:30). 2 Feb perhaps refer to the premier league transfer deadline day.

          No, it needs to be locked in by the time of the GW24 deadline (1 Feb 11:30).
