WC'd this week.
Looking like 79 post baps with just Ozil to play. Pretty happy with that.
Just working out what I would have got it I didn't wildcard.....
Would have scored 69-4 = 65 (with Ozil to go)
Plus would have needed to use a transfer this week whereas now I can save (as long as Ozil is OK)
So, is 14 + a FT enough to justify the early WC?
Just about I reckon.Open Controls-
A WC should be long term thing, not a quick fling. Having said that, you are off to a good start with it.
Open Controls -
Its not about what happens in the next week though, its about setting you up long term.
Still sounds good thoughOpen Controls -
Nice work. Im looking at 87 or 81 (-4) with 3 to play

Thoughts on this WC draft:
Szczesny, Mannone
Coleman, Terry, Koscielny, Hudson, Chester
Januzaj, Silva, Ramsey, Eriksen, Hazard
Agüero, Suárez, Negredo
?Open Controls-
I think it's corker, if only because I have the same front three. Bit heavy in the GK department for my liking, though.
Open Controls-
Nice one Mario. So you'd downgrade keeper but where to upgrade?
Open Controls-
Ah... good question. With the extra 1.8 to play with you could shift Eriksen/Silva to Özil/Navas, now that the latter's bound to get more minutes. But if that feels like doing transfers for the sake of it, you might as well leave it. Looks very nice.

Sturridge now going to be in a lot of WC teams???
Open Controls -
might do ade to studge just cos rival got ade in this week

Come on Smarty Pants, I know your out there. What's the average?
Open Controls-
I am worried something has happened to Smarty Pants. He could have run out into the road and been hit by a car. 🙁
I reckon it will be 48 tonight.Open Controls -
he isn't posting here since day 7th
Open Controls -
Doesn't he have a website?
Something like fpldiscovery.wordpress.com
Else stuff like the two chrome extensions from other members are pretty handy.
Probs gonna hit 71pts
Scezzers, Mert and Giroud to go.
Aaaaaaah 🙂Open Controls

Rooney > Sturridge look good tonight ? Feel Roon will fall in price..1FT

according to L'equipe:
Out on a stretcher during the victory Man.City Newcastle (0-2), Sunday, Samir Nasri could be the victim of a ligament tear in his left knee. "This is very serious," said his coach, Manuel Pellegrini. The French international could end his season.
After the victory of his players at Newcastle ( 0-2 ), Manuel Pellegrini was obviously asked about the injury Samir Nasri , touched his left knee after a tackle supported Yanga-Mbiwa. "This is very serious" , simply said the Chilean coach, who feared injury "in the ligaments" Yang-Mbiwa. "should have taken a straight red card, he has continued. Especially when you see the severity of the injury. Contrary to what is said, we have not been helped by the referee today. "
Sky Sports already evokes the worst case scenario and a rupture of the cruciate ligaments, which would end the season of French and his hopes of World Cup this summer. Nasri pass exams Monday and will know more about the severity of his injury and the duration of their unavailability.Open Controls-
damn feel bad for him, always hate to see a player go down with torn ligaments..
Open Controls-
i can't help feeling that the ref and his bad decisions helped caused this injury. No excuse at all but the feelings of injustice were there right throughout that 2nd half.

I have my own SAS up front now.
Suarez Aguero Sturridge
I have a HOE in midfield too 😀Open Controls -
Need 13 points from Sagna and Ozil combined tomorrow. Possible?
Open Controls -
Well who would have thought it, going out to a dead team in the FPL Cup as he has Sturridge(c) 😆
Open Controls-
That is really unlucky. I've seen worse though 😛 (one guy went out to Noble last night)
Open Controls -
SImilar happened to me the weekend at Xmas when Yaya and Rooney did not play. In the end lost out by 1 point to a complete noob team who had captained Lloris who kept a CS 🙁

So now it's time to sell Sterling as Sturridge is back?
Open Controls -
As tempting as it is to get sturridge , i have suarez and gerrard and i think thats enough coverage.
Open Controls -
Why can't people just be honest, it's not going to change the result now.
Newcastle scored a legitimate goal Pellegrini, look again.Open Controls-
-
I was also referring to those who say that Sterling didn't buy that penalty.
Open Controls-
because in many people's heads every other team but their own dives..
it infuriates me when Welbeck/Young/Januzaj etc dives 🙄 some rose-tinted glasses are too dark 😆Open Controls-
Welbeck took a dive against Spurs, that's for sure. He didn't get the penalty which was the right decision.
Open Controls-
yup, I would be in favor of implementing the referee's/FA's ability for retroactive action concerning diving..only way to be rid of this blight on the beautiful game
Open Controls-
A retrospective 3 game ban. It'll soon eradicate it.
There was a chance a few years back when UEFA charged Eduardo with diving against Celtic. There was talk that Arsenal brought in solictors and threatened UEFA with action. On appeal they withdrew the charge.
That was the big chance and UEFA blew it.Open Controls

...and a screamer at that!
Open Controls -
He was mad at all the fouls and injuries and abuse from Pardew
Open Controls -
ball would have hit gouffran, he moved out of the way, so he was active no?
Open Controls-
Nah, he's only active if it's affected the goalies view. Made no difference, the ball was hitting the net regardless.
Open Controls-
He is active. End of. Hart can see that the ball is heading towards him so he doesn't know whether to go for the save or wait for Gouffran to attack it. If Gouffran's not there its a whole difference story. Legendary decision
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
Not interfering with play, that's the rules. Should have been a goal.
Open Controls-
Right enough? Gouffran was in the six yard box.
I don't know how you can be in the six yard box but not interfering with play.Open Controls-
The entire 6 yard box is in the goalkeepers line of vision now?
Open Controls -
But that's the rules, daft as though they well be, if it's not affecting gk's line of sight then he's not interfering. I agree with you but that's not the point here.
Open Controls-
How do we prove he wasn't affecting his sight thou?
Open Controls-
Technically tough to prove but not in this case, clearly not in line of sight.
Open Controls-
Perhaps.
I would argue peripheral vision could be affected.
Anyway Gouffrans in the six yard box by virtue of that it affects the decision you'd make as a goalkeeper or defenders with regards to positioning.Open Controls

Are you just following me about today in order to disagree with everything I say.
Open Controls-
-
You just happen to have made points on two things in today's games I find worth replying to. There's no deliberate agenda from me.
Open Controls-
No problem. we're obviously both opinionated.
Open Controls-
I'm not saying Sterling didn't buy it either.
Wilson gave the opportunity to run through on goal by giving it away and committed to a stupid tackle in the box.
We see it every week when the legs touch down you go. He was going know here IMO Wilson was shocking.Open Controls

I would probably have given a goal. But the rules (particularly the offside one) are open to interpretation, and in this case the referee interpreted that he was interfering with play. His is the only decision that matters either way - he did the right thing in checking with his linesman and from then on ultimately making the decision. As I say, I don't agree with his decision, but it see no clear evidence for criticising him for making it.
Open Controls-
There was the clearly bizarre case of a Miralles goal given but Hull ( I think) protesting that Barry was in line of sight. The dubious goals panel awarded the goal to Barry 2 weeks later as they felt it had taken a touch off Barry. So the ref in this case argued that Barry had not been in the gk's line of sight , yet the goal was awarded to him. Go figure.

I brought in Henderson on my wildcard team, didn't play him this gw. Did he play well at least??
Can upgrade to Gerrard for free next gw. Got a nice 67 with 3 Arsenal players to play....Open Controls -

Need Ozil to score at least 8 points tomorrow to win my cup tie
yes or no ?Open Controls -
I'm doing Ade -> Studge because it just doesn't feel right having a player in my team that Doos recommended.
Open Controls -
if Kun is fit to be on the bench, with all these WCers our hands may be forced early and we may have to swap him in in case the price goes up no?
isn't price protection only for red to green?Open Controls -
I'm on 91 points post-baps, I'm pleased with that!
Any early recommendations?
Boruc
Coleman, Terry, Kos,
Lallana Silva, Hazard Gerrard
Suarez(C), Negredo, Adebayor
Subs: Davis, Ward, Pozuelo and Chester
1FT and 3.5m in the bank.
Thanks guys I appreciate your help! 😀Open Controls-

You have Lukaku don't you?
Open Controls

Thinking about wildcarding this week. I could go from
Marshall, Speroni
Dawson, Mert, Coleman, Flanigan, Baker
Hazard, Yaya, Brunt, Cabaye, Morrison
Negredo, Lukaku, Suarez
to this:
Marshall, Speroni
KOLAROV, Mert, Coleman, BARDSLEY, WARD
Hazard, Yaya, JANUZAJ, Cabaye, KI
Negredo, STURRIDGE/GIROUD, Suarez
Would love to fit Ozil in somewhere but it's tough(Can bring in Ramsey for Cabaye at some stage), that's why i will probably bring in Giroud up front. Kolarov could be a risk, what do people think of it?Open Controls -
