Our third Members article of the week takes the usual look at the Captaincy options ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. We analyse the stats of Robin Van Persie, Luis Suarez and Eden Hazard –the top three in this week’s Captain Poll – and also assess a couple of in-form alternatives, as well as rolling out our usual “Unsensible” armband alternative, for those willing to roll the dice:

      Let's wager.

      On one side:

a defender at the top of the pecking order for RB post in his team, who took a slight knock in last match but is back at training.

      On the other:

a player from the same team, deputising for the no. 1 CB during an injury that should be over any time now.

So, insecurity this weekend v. insecurity (or security of not starting if Fonte and Lovren stay available) for the rest of the season. Your choice.

Clyne still only deputised for Chambers when Chambs took a knock. I would not risk a transfer just because the debuty RB played well. Their order did not change when Clyne played full match against WBA and So'ton kept a clean sheet. Chambs was straight back to starting lineup after that. And by the looks of it I'd expect he is back to starting lineup again as soon as he is fully fit.

But when it comes to your team, the choice is yours, so do as you please.

Clyne is too good a player to stay on the bench forever, but Chambers has looked very promising.

They will play Norwich, not Chelsea this time.

Plus, he has played on midfield recently, when Clichy has been on left back, and I still expect that they may start with this lineup some match again. And that could see a massive point haul to Kolarov.

    Mirallas , Silva , Januzaj , Hazard

arsenal always do well against liverpool

      havent lost in 8 years

      suarez has never scored

If both Dzeko and Negredo put you off, and Aguero being injured, you know who is left of City attack.

Sorry for the lazy formatting, on a quick coffee break at work!

Lallana for Gerrard will happen next week - used -4 to get Cahill and Adrian in this week before their prizes rocketed, couldn't have afforded them otherwise - also have a feeling Gerrard nets and sets one up this week #biggamemonster

I don't see how I can take the armband off of Suarez. Even Arsenal can surrender goals on the road.

    Backline is Coleman, Vlaar/Williamson, Shaw/Bruce.

Only have 0.5 to play with and the 2 rotations work well, should I just be looking to fix Bruce long term? Can't really fit Chelsea in

So...is there anyone who IS NOT confident going into this GW?

Most of us seem to have the vast majority of our players at home, and with good fixtures.

      surley this makes you nervous??

with so many great options the captain choice is pivotal

how many of us will actually want our players to fail for example if i captain rvp and my rival captains hazard ill be wanting hazard to play badly....

also we will have the worry of hoping 5 or 6 players dont to do well to vindicate our choice... and all be nervous until 6 pm sunday.
