Sunday brings the Gameweek to a close as White Hart Lane and Old Trafford host afternoon clashes bristling with the promise of goals and Fantasy points.
Events begin in north London where Tim Sherwood’s Spurs host Everton. Having been jolted out of a revival which saw them win four on the trot under their new boss, Tottenham will go into the clash with the Toffees off the back of a 5-1 defeat to City and 1-1 stalemate with Hull. Everton have had their own wounds to lick recently but, having suffered a 4-0 Merseyside derby drubbing, Roberto Martinez’ side recovered last time out with a 2-1 win over Villa.
Later today, United welcome an ailing Fulham side to Old Trafford in what looks to be a potential points bonanza for David Moyes’ outfit. The Cottagers have shipped 11 goals in their last four outings, notching just once in response. While United slipped to defeat at Stoke last time out, they’ll be heavily backed to recover in today’s clash, with Fantasy managers hopeful that Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata are pivotal in a big home win.
