John Terry is still sidelined for Chelsea. Billy Jones is a doubt for West Brom. Kevin Nolan has recovered from the groin injury picked up at the weekend. Robert Snodgrass is set for a late fitness test for Norwich. Craig Noone could return for Cardiff, Liam Rosenior is likely to miss out for Hull and Mathieu Debuchy is out of Newcastle’s home game with Tottenham:

Jose Mourinho has confirmed John Terry will remain on the sidelines with the muscle problem that forced him to miss Saturday’s win over Newcastle. The Chelsea boss expects his skipper to return in time for the weekend FA Cup clash with City, though Fernando Torres has recovered from a knee problem and returns to the squad to face West Brom this evening.

Pepe Mel has admitted Billy Jones is a doubt for West Brom due to a knee problem, with Steven Reid set to deputise at right-back if he fails to make it. The Baggies boss also conceded he may hand new boy Thievy Bifouma a start after he climbed off the bench to score against Palace in Saturday, though Jonas Olsson, Nicolas Anelka and Stephane Sessegnon all remain on the sidelines.

Kevin Nolan has recovered from the groin problem that forced him off midway through the second-half against Villa. Mohamed Diame and Joe Cole are both available for the Hammers home clash against Norwich, though Ravel Morrison has been unable to train due to an ongoing groin problem, Sam Allardyce has revealed.

Robert Snodgrass will require a late fitness test for the Canaries. The Scot missed the weekend draw against City with a groin injury and “has a chance”, according to his manager, who will be without Jonas Gutierrez and Ryan Bennett. Michael Turner is back running after a hamstring injury but is “a number of weeks” away.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes to have Craig Noone and Kevin Theophile-Catherine available for Cardiff’s clash with Villa. The latter missed out with a knee complain at the weekend, whilst Noone failed to come off the bench after sustaining a muscle strain. Craig Bellamy faces a likely three-match ban after the FA charged him with violent conduct for an incident with Swansea’s Jonathan de Guzman at the weekend.

Steve Bruce has conceded Liam Rosenior is “extremely doubtful” for Hull’s clash with Southampton after picking up a hamstring problem at the weekend. The Tigers boss went on to say he may shift Ahmed Elmohamady or Paul McShane to right-back if Rosenior fails to make it.

Mathieu Debuchy is ruled out of Newcastle’s home game against Spurs with the calf complaint that forced him off at Chelsea on Saturday. Alan Pardew is still without Cheick Tiote and Fabricio Coloccini, though is optimistic on a return for Papiss Cisse.

Garry Monk has revealed Michu has missed training due to a swollen ankle but is still hopeful the Spaniard will play some part against Stoke. The Swans boss also expects Jonjo Shelvey to return to action shortly as he continues his comeback from a hamstring problem.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

Ok lads I hope you don't mind but I have done some research on the tubes and the impact of the strike and here goes

Fulham's closest tube station -Putney Bridge (Zone 2) according to this http://www.fulhamfc.com/help/faq/travelling-to-the-game

Putney Bridge is on the District line. Please see here the tube map- http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/standard-tube-map.pdf

Now the official advanced notice states the following:

We intend to run trains between Upminster and Wimbledon around every six minutes
        in both directions -http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/strike-advance-travel-advice-11-to-13-feb.pdf

Therefore the tube's going to and from Putney Bridge station station will be running, just a smaller number of trains. It's usually every 2-3 mins. Just a longer wait. If they really want the staff to get there it will happen.

Another alternative is hammersmith station (also zone 2). This station is 20 or so mins walk from the ground and is reachable via the hammersmith and city line and also picaddily and district line. Hammersmith and city line is working and it states:

We intend to run trains between Hammersmith and Moorgate around every ten minutes
        in both directions

The ground can even be reached via overground trains - Putney railstation is the closest- There is no impact on overground trains. It's about a 15 min walk to the ground.

Tube strike therefore does not mean NO tube trains are running. There are limited or no tubes running on some lines but some are impacted more than others. The routes to get to craven cottage via tube are still available, there is just a few mins more wait.

I live right round the corner. It's so easy to get there from Hammersmith. Get there early, lots of nice pubs on the way. If you get there an hour early or more, you can walk along the river, with guided signs. Really nice and a pub or two there as well. There'll be lots of posh people you can follow along the way, so easy.

          ********TUBE STRIKE UPDATE********
I work in travel and have just had the following email:

          Dear Travel Agent,
Transport for London advice for customers - Tube strike on 11th, 12th and 13th February 2014

The RMT and TSSA unions have called a strike on the Tube which, if it goes ahead, will affect services from around 21:30 on the evening of Tuesday 11th February.
Industrial action affecting London Underground will take place from 21:30 on Tuesday 11th February until 20:59 on Thursday 13th February.
The strike will disrupt services throughout all of Wednesday 12th February and Thursday 13th February. TfL will run as many Tube services as possible but there will be disruption and some lines may have a limited service. Some stations will be closed.
Services will not return to normal until Friday 14th February.
          If strike action does take place;

          • Services will be affected from around 21:30 on the evening of Tuesday 11th February 2014.
          • On Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th February;
          - Where TfL can operate services, trains will run from around 07:00 or as soon as possible after that.
          - Services are expected to conclude around 23:00, with no service beyond that.
          - However, the last services from central London may depart significantly earlier than this, at around 21:30.
Customers are advised to check http://www.tfl.gov.uk to plan an alternative route or method of transport. DLR, London Overground, trams and other rail services will be operating as normal, as will buses and river bus services where there will also be some extra services operating. All these services will be busy. Cycling and walking may be other practical options.
          Please see further details here.

liverpool fans have to get back home to liverpool. United are playing arsenal, but all their fans are in London anyway.

(or rather, United fans can easily get back to Euston from Highbury without the tube, Fulham is farther afield).

Don't people want the game to be cancelled due to the sheer amount of Suarez (C) Sturridge (VC) that will be going on? Add this to potentially 8 and 9 players for those who have already sorted their teams for the week, couldn't this be an easy jump in rankings?

I'm talking about non-FFS players (casuals as everyone likes to call them even though they're probably ranked higher) who may have potentially sorted their team already for this GW and wouldn't be making any more changes now.

This is so and so. Everybody seems to have at least 2 Liverpool players right now, so do I. Everybody also appears to have Hazard. Nobody will have Liverpool captain - vice captain pair when game is under threat of being cancelled. I don't think this would have much effect.

I agree. I own Sturridge and Cissokho but have two transfers available and can field a decent XI using only one FT. If it's off, I have a good chance of catching a lot of stragglers in my GF's Mini-League.

Big question for all fpl managers
Does your passion for your club affects your fpl decisions? Thoughts ??

For me it does. For example I have rooney instead of sturridge who is clearly in better form. But i want united to get the cl spot at the expense of liverpool most probably. So as a passionate united fan it would be wrong to enjoy points of sturridge then rooney's

Two mates of mine are United supporters. They staunchly refuse to pick any Liverpool players. I admire their loyalty but question their desire to win any fantasy leagues.

I sometimes captain players against my club as a consolation prize - ie if we lose at least I might have a good fantasy GW

No. I try and look at FPL in a purely anilitical way ignoring any bias I have as a Man U fan. I used to let it affect my choices, but when it cost me FPL points last season it just seemed stupid, I'd prefer to stop playing fpl and just stick to following my team in that case.

Admittedly it still does affect it in some ways, I got Januzaj, as I'd been and seen him in U21 games and knew what he was cabable of, I'd never have that insight in to up and coming players at other clubs.
