It’s time to assess the progress of our Fantasy Football Scout leagues across a variety of games this evening. With leagues in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports, Sun Dream Team and Champions League games, we have plenty to analyse:

Fantasy Premier League

Michael Atkins is not only the new Scout league leader, he has moved to number one in the overall rankings after a 74-point haul in Gameweek 26 took his tally to 1,795 points. Whilst many were affected by the postponement of Everton’s clash with Palace and City’s home showdown against Sunderland, Michael was able to field a full XI – up front, Liverpool pair Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge were joined by Tottenham’s in-form Emmanuel Adebayor, whilst the likes of Cardiff stopper David Marshall, Per Mertesacker, Nathan Baker and Adam Lallana all produced for Michael’s side, β€œNo_Way_Jose”.

Luke Weston drops to second in the Scout League and second overall after a 46-point haul last time around. Reduced to 10 starters in Gameweek 26, he also had Liverpool’s β€œSAS” leading the line, while Artur Boruc and Ron Vlaar both produced bonus points and clean sheets – Luke moves to 1,786 points overall and has now been inside the top 10 since Gameweek 13.

In third spot is Luke van Lelyveld, who is also first in the FFS Members league. He racked up an impressive 68 points in Gameweek 26 despite being reduced to nine players – Suarez, Sturridge and Adebayor lead the line, whilst the likes of Lallana, Mertesacker, Vlaar and Luke Shaw were all key for Luke, who is now in fourth spot in the overall rankings on 1,764 points.

Christov Davies takes fourth position in the Scout League. A score of 76 points was higher than any of our top five in the previous Gameweek – he managed to field XI players, with Suarez, Sturridge and Lallana joined by a triple up on Arsenal’s defence (Mertesacker, Wojciech Szczesny and Bacary Sagna), whilst Branislav Ivanovic and Jose Fonte both delivered double figure hauls from the back. Up to seventh overall, Cristov sits on 1,758 points.

Our top five is completed by Sam Coles, who slips down despite scoring 70 points in Gameweek 26. Another one to opt for Suarez and Sturridge, he also has Lallana, Ivanovic, Marshall and Laurent Koscielny to thank for his lofty position – Sam sits in eighth spot overall on 1,754 points.

Intriguingly, for all the talk of template squads, our featured quintet have just three players in common with 12 Gameweeks remaining – Suarez, Sturridge and Eden Hazard. Thanks to the extraordinary endeavours of our top five, Fantasy Football Scout remain top of the League of Leagues. To join up, the league code is 1580-1106

In the Fantasy Football Scout Members League, Luke Van Lelyveld has a 31-point advantage over second-placed Jono McPhillips, with Joe Wilkinson a further 11 points behind Jono on 1,722 points overall.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Dammy Olubokun continues to lead the way. Both his teams share first spot on 1,846 points – he has a healthy lead on his nearest challenger, Garry Wheeler, who is further back on 1,790 points. Dammy’s teams are placed in second spot overall, just eight points off the summit, whilst Garry joins him in the top 10 in seventh spot. The winner of our Sky league, which is also top in the league of leagues, wins Β£1,000.

The Sun Dream Team

Geoff Pryor leads the way on 1,500 points, with his tactic of doubling up on both Chelsea’s defence and midfield helping him to 19th spot overall. Geoff has a 39-point lead over Charles Mouzon, who sits second in the Scout League – the pair are far ahead of the chasing pack, where third-placed Dan Ward is a further 99 points behind Charles on 1,362 points. The winner of our Sun league also picks up Β£1,000.

Champions League

With just a couple of games played in the Last 16 knockout stages last night, Diegocho33 remains at the top of the Scout League on 515 points and, after racking up 28 points on Tuesday evening, he moved to number one in the overall rankings. Pavel123 is second in the Scout League (and 13th overall) on 497 points, whilst Tankax is nine points further behind in third. To join, visit the UEFA website – league name: FFScout, code: 1209685-489925

Fantasy Football Scout Cup

The Fantasy Football Scout Cup VIII, as sponsored by Paddy Power, was won by Tdubb05 last month, who defeated Ajax in the final. Entry for the Scout Cup IX and Members Cup IV is already underway – the qualifying round is Gameweek 27 and further information on how to take part can be found here.

Ultimate Fantasy Premier League

As most of you will know by now, the FPL also released a Beta version of their new game in preparation for next season. There’s been plenty of talk surrounding the game on the boards and we plan to look at it in detail in an upcoming article – for now, we’ve set up a league for those who are planning to get involved – the code is: 1305-459

It's the best league because it's the most competence. La Liga is normally like The Scottish league, Series A is always Juventus as the Bundesliga is nearly always Bayern. League 1 is now just a face off between two oil clubs. The Prem is generally wide open

Well i did say best midfielder in the world, not ever. Iniesta is too different a player to compare.

He's great. If his agent actually manages to talk him into doing one in the summer, I'll be much displeased.

    Hmm oh well

Does seem harsh that you lose a pen and a player for that , rules is rules but as Ballack says a penalty is punishment enough , that just killed the game

Also , not that u want tons of reds , but the foul on Ozil was just as much denying. Goalscoring opportunity so he should of been sent off also .

Defenders rarely are though , keepers always
