Jack Wilshere is ruled out for several weeks, though Aaron Ramsey is due back next weekend for Arsenal. Robert Snodgrass and Ricky van Wolfswinkel return to training for Norwich. Scott Parker is ruled out for Fulham, who also have concerns over Kostas Mitroglou and William Kvist following international duty. Marouane Chamakh emerges as a strong doubt for Palace, Phil Jagielka is unlikely to make Everton’s cup clash with Arsenal, whilst Laurent Koscielny is a doubt with a hamstring problem:

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere sustained a hairline fracture to a bone in his foot whilst on international duty for England in midweek. Following scans and further investigation by the FA and the Gunners, Arsene Wenger confirmed earlier this morning that Wilshere will be out of action for around six weeks. Wenger had some good news on the injury front today, though, after revealing both Aaron Ramsey and Kim Kallstrom are expected to be available for next weekend’s north London derby trip to Tottenham. Elsewhere, the Arsenal manager also admitted that defender Laurent Koscielny picked up a hamstring problem whilst with France and is “a little doubt” to face Everton in the FA Cup this weekend.

Roberto Martinez has given an update on Phil Jagielka’s hamstring injury ahead of Everton’s cup tie with Arsenal, suggesting that the defender is “very unlikely” to feature at the Emirates this weekend.

Norwich’s injury worries have eased ahead of the weekend visit of Stoke, with Robert Snodgrass and Ricky van Wolfswinkel both returning to training following wrist and knee injuries respectively. Chris Hughton remains hopeful that the pair will come through training without any issues prior to selecting his squad. Meanwhile, the Canaries boss is confident both Joseph Yobo and Martin Olsson are fit to face Mark Hughes’s men after withdrawing from international duty in the week. Leroy Fer, Jonas Gutierrez and Michael Turner remain sidelined.

Tony Pulis has revealed that Marouane Chamakh is a doubt for the weekend. The forward suffered a hamstring injury at Swansea last week and the Eagles boss isn’t holding out much hope of the Moroccan being available, suggesting that Chamakh is “struggling.” Pulis also admitted that there are “one or two other niggles” around the camp and a late decision will be made on their availability.

Reports suggest that Fulham’s January signings William Kvist and Kostas Mitroglou both picked up hamstring injuries whilst away on international duty this week, with boss Felix Magath expected to check on the duo’s fitness ahead of the six-pointer with Cardiff. Magath will decide on Mitroglou’s inclusion against Cardiff after conversing with the club’s doctors. Scott Parker is out of tomorrow’s showdown after sustaining a knee injury in training, Fernando Amorebieta is also unavailable with a muscle problem, whilst Damien Duff may not feature again this term due to a knee injury.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

Sanity checking my moves - Kos and Benteke out for Olsson and Rodriguez in? Gives me 10 if Noone and Puncheon play.

The low value of Olsson and Rodriguez is key to my planning as it means I can swap Noone out for Yaya next week.

    Thanks all.

Probably makes sense given Benteke's next 4 fixtures, unless he's hit form and is again now the unstoppable force he was at times last season.

Kosc > Olsson looks ok too, but it's kind of sideways given that they play the same amount of games in the next 3 GWs. Only do it if you realistically think Norwich will get CSs

I've ruled out Evra as I think Olsson has a better CS chance this week and Evra's DGW isn't even that attractive.

The only other option I'm considering is Benteke - Rooney but that would mean all sorts of jiggery pokery required to get Yaya for the DGW.

Cheers for the advice - part of the issue is that I need to free up funds to get Yaya as I don't want to have to do Mata - Yaya for the DGW and these two transfers do that while also giving me good GW29 coverage.

Kos I'm happy to dump as I just don't see CSs in Arsenal's future and the plan is to use it to get better DGW players (although possibly not defenders).

        Thanks

It's for Ultimate FPL (What I'm concentrating on most until the end of the season).

I'm using my GW29 FT to get 10 possible players. Either:

A: Koscielny to Olsson, then Lambert to Aguero, then WC in 31
B: Koscielny to Evra, then WC to get Aguero in in 30 and prepare team for 31 before rises. 2FT in 32 to rebalance team.

      So the question is

      Smalling + AJ/Sterling, or

      Evra + Livermore/Noble?

I think I would go for the latter, but then AJ will have another two DGWs down the road, so it depends on your long term plans. In sum it´s all clear as mud to me now... Glad I could help 😛

I know I'm screwed this GW, but any last advice? I have no FT, but I am willing to take a hit for the right player. Got 2.1 in bank.

    (Adrian) (Mannone)

    Evra Azpi Ward (Vlaar) (Davies)

    Haz Snodgrass (Mirallas) (Yaya) (AJ)

    Ade Lambert (Suarez)

Not amazing but a DGW is a DGW. That combined with playing this weekend and generally good fixtures for the run in is in my opinion, an advantageous transfer.

Guys this is my current team

    Marshall Mannone
    Coleman Ward Burner Ivanovic Clyne
    Mata Eriksen Lallana Hazard Livermore
    Suarez Sturridge Adebayor

For GW 31 I will have this team which will cost me -4 hit only between now and then:

Players who have DGW are in CAPS

    MANNONE Marshall
    COLEMAN Ward CHESTER Ivanovic Clyne
    YAYA AJ Lallana Hazard LIVERMORE
    SUAREZ STURRIDGE LUKAKU

So transfers will look like this for

    GW 29: Pozuelo -> Livermore ( No hits )
GW 30: Eriksen -> AJ OR Mata -> Yaya ( No hits )
    GW 31: Burner -> Chester/Collins and Ade -> Lukaku

I have really planned this out well in my opinion

How does this look for the next couple of GWs?

    Cheers in advance 🙂

Predicitng Fulham v Cardiff is like being a judge for the Razzies (the oscars for terrible films). Its just picking the best element in something that is fundamentally terrible.

Fulham v Cardiff is probably full of goals as arguably it is two quite good championship sides. I hope they stop all this rotation and pretending to be Premier League quality and play like the championship sides they are full of second tier skill and verve.

Agreed on both points Dogba. I planned to bring in Collins a few weeks back but rode it out waiting to see who Reid would replace. I think Big Sam's first choice back four, for now, is Demel, Reid, Collins, McCartney, but I know others think Tomkins will get the spot alongside Reid...

99% of people who sold Suarez this week don't visit this website and look plan for the future GWs. It is best to keep Suarez IMO for this week
