To those with Sanchez:
Can you really justify £2m extra on top of Giroud's price tag of £8.5m? Giroud, whilst undoubtedly less talented and nifty, is the sole out-and-out striker at Arsenal and Wenger is obviously very fond of him. Giroud is going to be the furthest forward and will probably score the most goals come the end of the season.
So why Sanchez?Open Controls-
He's classed as a midfielder. He's a top player. He's playing just behind the striker.

I don't have him, but I think he will be essential by the end of the season.

I cant understand it neither. A lot of competition in wide areas and will be rested for the champions league qualifiers. I cant see him doing that well as alone striker tbh. Ramseys a better option IMO and 2.5mil cheaper!

I would be tempted by the Lovren hype. But I now hate him for his lack of professionalism so it can never happen. This is the first time I've ever vetoed a player for personal reasons. It's also probably stopped me making a mistake.

That's an ever-present danger of playing 3 at the back though. With defensive re-enforcement or their current CBs getting better and used to the system, they should be able to minimize the regularity with which other team's counter-attacks catch them unawares.
