With Gameweek 1 concluded, it’s time to delve a little deeper into the data in our first “Big Numbers” article for members of the campaign. We analyse the display of Arsenal’s new wide man against Palace, the QPR front pairing at home to Hull, Liverpool’s ever-improving youngster, Southampton’s delivery under Ronald Koeman and United’s weekend scorer in the 2-1 home loss to Swansea.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

People forget Liverpool has a lot of midfield options that they could bring on. Markovic, Lallana to return, Can. How will they impact Sterling and Henderson's fantasy proposition?

Do you think it's worth losing Giroud for a hit? Really fancy a Pelle punt and he has great fixtures. Extra cash would allow me to swap Eriksen to Silva or Mata next week as well.

Especially for Fab. Fab is class, do not get me wrong. But in the last match he managed ZERO shots on goal. Sure he got two assist, however there will be many games where he will be the "assister to the assister" and you will lose out.

I made this point the other day.....The formula for price changes are not in the FPL rules. They may have changed it this year. Where does it state that a player can only rise 0.3 per week? Where does it say that the threshold to rise is bases on X% of ownership? They might have thrown us a curveball this season!

They do it every season, it takes a while for Fiso and TotalFPL to work out price changes to precision.

Agree but 59000 net transfers in today should break any threshold no?

Not in the first GW no. And remember the threshold always starts high and gets lower as the season goes on because people stop playing.

To be honest I wish they would rein in the volatility. But a warning would've been swell if so.

I think it does say the 0.3 thing somewhere.
