With Gameweek 1 concluded, it’s time to delve a little deeper into the data in our first “Big Numbers” article for members of the campaign. We analyse the display of Arsenal’s new wide man against Palace, the QPR front pairing at home to Hull, Liverpool’s ever-improving youngster, Southampton’s delivery under Ronald Koeman and United’s weekend scorer in the 2-1 home loss to Swansea.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Is Ivanovic worth holding on to for the forseeable future? Chelsea have some tough fixtures coming up after Everton and I know that Chelsea like to park the bus when playing against the biggest teams, but I think City is the only team that will force them to park the bus, I don't see a repeat of Liverpool - Chelsea like last year...

What are you guys doing with your Chelsea defenders?

Just as they hit a tough run of fixtures:
(eve, SWA, mci, AVL, ARS, cpl, mun)

    Southampton have these:
(WBA, whu, NEW, swa, QPR, tot, SUN)

And considering you can get a Southampton defender for only 5.0, is Ivanovic really worth 2mill more than that?

i'll be keeping Terry for the foreseeable future...Chelsea will keep lots of clean sheets, and I feel many will be slightly 'unexpected'

yeah clyne is probably better value than ivan, but im alright having clyne and terry πŸ˜‰

I'm quite happy to stick with Cahill tbh, the Everton game will give us some more clues about big away game set-up.
Chelsea in those 7 games, you would still expect minimum of 3 clean sheets & last year the kept clean sheets in 4 (SWA, mci, ARS & mun)

Guys at FISO are speculating that they've changed the rules on price rises this year, and each successive rise requires double the number of transfers in to be triggered. Will really calm the market down if true.

this would be good (if you ask me)! πŸ™‚ ... as long as the player's start at the right price.

i.e. Siggy will stay under-valued for too long.
but the big hitters will be less easily-manipulated.

presumably this also applies to falls?

If they've reverted to 2012/12 rules, then yes. But there's not enough evidence yet to really demonstrate this - we've had no double-risers or fallers so far.

QPR manager Harry Redknapp believes Loic Remy would only leave the club for one of the top seven teams in the Premier League, and is hopeful the France striker will stay at Loftus Road.

Lukaku--Remy would be a nice combo for Everton

I have for reasons not being able to see any games at all, but would like insight from those that did.
Tottenhams game is what interest me....

It is said they had a hard time scoring, so why did not Soldado get in?
Yeah i know he is the subject of ridicule here but still he got over 100p last season and were amongst the top 10 forwards fpl-wise(or around that somewhere).
Has Pochetino said anything that could clear this up? Did he have a knock? Is he on his way out?
I mean Ade got tbe nod after having malaria, and he is in my opinion one of the laziest players around sometimes and spurs was said to struggle so why did not Soldado get a chance? If any have any insight it would be apreciated

I believe Soldado will be leaving Spurs in the foreseeable future and has been linked with moves to Spain and Italy.

There is also talks of Spurs signing Mattia Destro with Soldado going the other way.

I would stay clear of Soldado for now and go with Adebayor if you want a Spurs striker just now.

Sterling- fab - Rambo - Hazard- JWP
    Rooney- Costa (Naismith)

any toughts? fear for my weak defence, esp when man utd, appeared as they did when I have jones there, but my thinking was that I didn't wanna gamble on Chelsea def, and I was thinking maybe downgrade one of my mid and get baines after gw 3, also trying to figure out how to get aguero in the team for gw3 ? my first season, so I would love some feedback πŸ˜€

Thoughts on this side? Haven't used any transfers yet

    Bego (krul)
    Lovren-Cahill-chambers (oshea-wisdom)
    Mata-hazard-shelvey-eriksen (mutch)
    Bony-Rooney-sturridge

Too top heavy? Mata will go for Ramsay soon and would like to bring sterling in too
    Thanks for any advice

Nice to see someone plumping for Bony, think he'll do well with the upcoming fixtures.

you're missing a few "must haves" in midfield though... sterling, ramsey, fabregas...

You could win big with that team though if they score since not many have those players.

I've got Bego/Krul in net. leaning towards krul for the next fixture.

Hey lads what do you think of this?

    Currently my mid and attack

    Mata/Sanchez/Eriksen/Siggy
    Costa/Rooney

    Was thinking Sanchez - Ramsey
    Eriksen - Fabregas

??? Any thoughts on those changes and would Sterling be better than fab?

Sanchez is a waste of 1.5m when there's so many great options at 9.0. Sterling is a much better option than Eriksen in the medium to long-term too

I'm sure it has been posted here before, but what is the best site to see changes in player $ values? I find the Premier League's tool to be unwieldy.

i would downgrade yaya and upgrade your second striker. yaya has tough fixtures and isn't in form yet.
