Last season’s top two go head-to-head at the Etihad this evening as Gameweek 2 is brought to its conclusion. Both City and Liverpool go in search of a second successive win, allowing Fantasy managers the chance to assess our options in midfield and attack, with Raheem Sterling, David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge looking to get amongst the goals once again.

Aguero remains on the bench for City, however, as Manuel Pellegrini makes just one change from the side that defeated Newcastle last Sunday. The City boss hands Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko the chance to lead the line again, then, whilst Pablo Zabaleta is drafted in at right-back, with Gael Clichy swapping over to the other flank as Aleksandar Kolarov drops out.

Brendan Rodgers makes a couple of alterations to the XI that started against Southampton last time around. New signing Alberto Moreno is handed a debut at left-back, with Glen Johnson shifting to the right of defence as Javier Manquillo drops out. Elsewhere, Joe Allen comes in for Lucas in the centre of the park.

Not really. The best partnerships are supposedly Aguero/Dzeko and Jovetic/Negredo.

Aguero/Jovetic "similar" kind of players and Dzeko/Negredo too.

Aguero's minutes/goal ratio already is lowest in PL history.

At least amongst players who have actually scored more than one or two times (there might be some freak stat of somebody who only ever played 30 minutes and happened to score a goal, I don't know).

Actually, he may be second to Henry. Not sure, it's tight between them.
