Last season’s top two go head-to-head at the Etihad this evening as Gameweek 2 is brought to its conclusion. Both City and Liverpool go in search of a second successive win, allowing Fantasy managers the chance to assess our options in midfield and attack, with Raheem Sterling, David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge looking to get amongst the goals once again.

Aguero remains on the bench for City, however, as Manuel Pellegrini makes just one change from the side that defeated Newcastle last Sunday. The City boss hands Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko the chance to lead the line again, then, whilst Pablo Zabaleta is drafted in at right-back, with Gael Clichy swapping over to the other flank as Aleksandar Kolarov drops out.

Brendan Rodgers makes a couple of alterations to the XI that started against Southampton last time around. New signing Alberto Moreno is handed a debut at left-back, with Glen Johnson shifting to the right of defence as Javier Manquillo drops out. Elsewhere, Joe Allen comes in for Lucas in the centre of the park.

      Chelsea doesn't either if they see a chance to ridicule a rival. 😉

    The Burning question: DO you drop Wayne Rooney/Diego Costa for Sergio Aguero?

    I'm gonna drop Costa & go without Chelsea cover for at least a week (risky).

          I think Hazard and Rooney is better than Mata and Costa

    once again Kun proves he doesn't need to start to be dangerous

    will happily find a home for him come GW4, pity I can't do it this week tbh

    Jovetic and Aguero could be the way forward for City

    If I want to bring in Aguero...

    Hazard - Ramsey - Mata - Siggy - Henderson
    Rooney - Costa - Zamora

    1FT
    2.0m in the bank

    A) Rooney -> Aguero
    B) Costa -> Aguero
    C) Hazard & Zamora -> 4.5 & Aguero for a hit

    Aguero will always score and he will always get injured.

    Never worth the risk.

    But Jovetic however...

      Also happens to be quite injury prone but lacks Aguero's goalscoring record or security of starts.
