Can I afford price wise to wait until after CL to do Haz to Fab? I know TV isn't everything but don't fancy any further reductions.

I made the switch now on the basis that it should ensure I have enough funds to do Eriksen > ADM next week if it looks like a good idea.

Some early thoughts on my team please. 🙂

    Krul - Hamer
    Terry - Clyne - Naylor - Wilson - Moore
    Fabregas - Sterling - Sigurdsson - Puncheon - Marney
    Rooney - Costa - Naismith

1 FT and 6.7m in the bank.

Thinking Puncheon>Ramsey/Sanchez/ADM. Maybe keep Punchy this week and save FT? Any other ideas welcome.

    Thanks. 🙂

Looking pretty good. I'd be thinking forwards to Naismith > Pelle/Welbeck for GW6, probably, but you've so much money in the bank that you could do that next week with no worries... you could even do Naismith > Aguero then. I think Puncheon > Any of those mids is solid though, and if you do something this week, that would be the best thing to do.

Yep have similar thoughts. Keeping Naismith for 1 more week and then deciding on him.

Small change in my plan.. How about.. Terry + Debuchy to Duff + Baines for a -4? Baines probably the only defender worth a hit in the game.. and even if he has bad fixtures the week after i'd still prefer him over terry. gonna end up keepin him for a loooong while too.. still leaves enough cash for Eriksen to Mata/Di Maria next week.. Current team

    Krul Elliott
    TERRY DEBUCHY Caulker Chester Clyne
    Eriksen Ramsey Sterling Siggy Albrighton
    Rooney Welbeck Costa

Course i'll do it after the UCL games.. so put a no other injury clause to this plan

I think it was always premature. The only place there's a template is in midfield, and Sanchez, Hazard, di Maria should all score well enough to unsettle that. Up top Costa seems unavoidable, but as well as Rooney we've got Aguero, Pelle, Welbeck, Adebayor, Falcao, the return of Sturridge, Balotelli and Dzeko or Jovetic to choose from, all looking like options.

Is this the end of the road for RVP?

He was very much the weak link today in a dominant performance, has it all finally caught up with him?

If LvG had 100% confidence in him then would he of signed Falcao? Or did Utd just want to buy stars?

Today's XI is very nearly the strongest with Jones to come in for Evans, Shaw for Blackett (who has looked good and has a big future) and Falcao in for RVP. Will Januzaj get a chance to become the player he could be?

His average position was still further back than tadic but he did. Have 5 shots which is decent.

I'm thinking of going from this:

    De Gea, Myhill
    Debuchy, Lovren, Kelly, PVA, Moore
    Ramsey, Sterling, Cesc, Siggy, Albrighton
    Rooney, Naismith, Costa + 3.4

    to:

    De Gea, Hamer
    Dier, Baines, Bertrand, Duff, Moore
    Ramsey, Sterling, Cesc, Siggy, Cork
    Rooney, Welbeck, Costa + 0.5

I'd like to replace those cheap players with some that will rise this week and maybe then replace them for even cheaper options with the unlimited transfers I have. Should I use the WC or not?

          No worries.

btw going without Messi for the first game could be fatal. Barca may thrash Apoel.

so keep the front line of aguero - rooney - costa..

or drop aguero out and go 3- 5- 2 and upgrade the mid to have the below

    krul
    clyne -pva - trippier
ramsey - fabregas - sterling - siggy - di maria
    rooney - costa naismith)

I'd go with the midfield. Can't cope with having a player with glass hamstrings costing so much.

      aguero - rooney - costa

Caulker owners.. we're trapped aren't we 😆 .. gonna fall to 4.8/4.7 this week and i'm sure we've got other priorites in our team atm. Gonna end up being forced to play him most weeks hoping for a goal, while all he returns is 0/1 points most weeks. sigh.. doubt i'm gonna end up getting rid without getting a goal atleast

Sometimes you just have to swallow a 4 point hit and move on.

      1. Valar(Keith)

i've got Debuchy and Terry as priorities though.. Debuchy cause of his probably long term absence.. and Terry cause he is returning as much as caulker at 1.6 more. so Caulker would be my 3rd priority in defense alone. and taking hits for a defender is a bit meh. considerin i've to get Fabs/Di Maria in soon in my midfield i'm about 3/4 weeks away from getting to caulker 🙁
