After a subdued Saturday programme, Sunday explodes on us with veritable feast of football featuring five of last season’s top seven sides. While Chelsea’s visit to the Etihad at tea-time is undoubtedly the headline act, we’ve plenty to keep us engaged until the 4pm kick-off.

The day begins with a pair of fixtures, with Leicester looking to continue their impressive start to their campaign against Louis van Gaal’s United redux, whilst at the Lane, Spurs will be seeking to dish out further punishment to a West Brom side that’s faltered out of the blocks so far.

That’s rounded off by the main event in Manchester, with Everton’s Goodison clash with Crystal Palace running alongside it. Fantasy managers look set for a eventful afternoon, then, with the day’s events potential turning Gameweek fortunes on their head.

As always, you can look to our Twitter feed for all the teamsheet news and key injury updates as the night draws in and Gameweek 5 draws to a close.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Jamie Carragher is right

Absolutely horrendous management from LVG not to get a proper defender in the transfer market. He is totally right, LVG seems to be quite over-rated and we are finding this out quite quickly

You're right about them not getting a defender is bad, but if you're telling me that it wouldn't have crossed LVG's mind and he tried to get someone, then you're mad. Remember Jones, Evans and Smalling keep getting injured, which cannot be foreseen.

A lot of work needed. Delighted with some of the players that have been brought in but that doesn't fix bad attitudes or bad defending.

Having the permanent manchild that is Wayne Rooney as captain is a joke, as is refusing to drop a pretty woeful RVP (all things considered).

I'm not lying when I say I'd give the captaincy to Herrera, a player who looks like he wants to be there and wants to be doing well. Seems ridiculous to even be saying that but, for me, it's the truth.

Defence, well no point talking about it as, much like a sober Irishman, it's non-existent.
