Every little point counts. With the mini-league gap between myself and co-host Granville widening by the week, my Mancunian friend can ill-afford to throw points aside in his bid to follow up last season’s victorious campaign.

In and around the usual ScoutCast regulars, Granville recalls the dilemma that saw him get away with benching Cesc Fabregas to the tune of just a single point. Will that prove costly?

We then join forces to run the rule over the accelerating Di Maria bandwagon, assess Rooney’s re-positioning and decide whether those steering away from Ramsey Street need to re-programme their sat navs.

Treasure this nonsense via this link or cling to these worldly goods via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Alright 1 free transfer left after confirming Ramsey > ADM earlier this week. Got 0.7 n the bank, not sure whether to fix up the strikers or defense.

    Krul, Foster
    Terry, Lovren, Clyne, Caulker, Moore
Fabregas, Di Maria, Sterling, Sigurdsson, Boyd
    Rooney, Costa, Naismith

Thinking of either taking a hit and selling Rooney + Naismith for Pelle + Welbeck OR just selling Caulker for Bertrand? Thoughts?

Your strikers are fine for this week, each one has a good game. I'd ditch Caulker.

Thanks, seems to move lest likely to backfire. Dont fancy Pelle + Welbeck to outscore Rooney + Naismith + 4 points. It will set me up nicely for the coming weeks aswell.

I agree just ditch Caulker for Bertrand. I also envy the Ramsey -> ADM for a free! Really tempted to spend points to do the same...

I think if Chelsea fail to keep a clean sheet and Rooney looks poor this weekend, I'll take a -4 and do them two out to Trippier + Sturridge (if he plays)

Need to do some Trippier research!

Not sure he's worth the extra over Duff/Shackell/Mee personally for all his attacking potential he did only score one in the league for Burnley last season which was less than Shackell. Not sure on his assist potential but at the moment Burnley can't score anyway

      1. The Sarjeant

Well thats pretty impressive. Trouble with Burnley is with Vokes and Ings out for another while yet I can't see where the goals will come from. Duff seems the safe bet purely because of the saving over Trippier but if you can afford Trippier and plan on having him as a keeper long-term go for it

Golf is a boring elitist game watched by middle managers and people who work in accounting who pay hundreds of pounds to walk around as a virtual billboard in garish branded clothing, who watch Top Gear as a life style guide, who have probably never satisfied ‘her indoors’ their entire life, who think UKIP is talking sense and get a semi when discussing house prices/ BMW specifications and while reading the Daily Mail. Anyone who shouts ‘you d man’ or ‘in the whole’ should be sent off to fight ISIS with loofah. Give me a League 2 game on wet mid-week night anytime.

Thanks for the suggestion.I do have an understanding of the term, what i was to trying to convey was that i skimmed your post and read domestic violence as violence. This resulted in me seeming to agree with you on the domestic violence matter whereas i was really trying to agree with the term violence

I know, I'm suggesting that if you google the connection between football matches and increased incidents of domestic violence you will find one or more of the many studies on the subject. But I'm equally happy skimming and stereotyping if that is preferable.

Yeah, I'll probably end up playing safe. Too much a risk at his price, with the chance of him being shifted out wide and being absolute crap.

Midfield of Sterling Di Maria Sanchez Siggy, is that not a bit much? Would leave me with only 0.5 to upgrade Naismith as well, so only Ulloa an option.

I would have that exact midfield if I transferred Ramsey out, also with 0.5 spare. But I have Costa, Rooney and Welbeck up front. Only my defence would need some sorting.

In your situation I would be more reluctant as I would want Welbeck or Pelle at the very least when selling Naismith. But you may be happy going with Ulloa

    Begovic (Krul)
    Ivanovic Clyne Wisdom (Duff, Dummett)
    Larsson, Fab, Sterling, ADM (Siggy)
    Pelle, D.Costa, Ulloa

Question: Should I play Duff instead of Wisdom, but Burnley are away.

Have 3.3m ITB, would appreciate if there's any advice for the next transfer. Made 1 this week to get Ulloa and sold Ade.

    Cheers

Which 3 defenders to play this weekend?

    Clyne - home to QPR
    PVA - home to swansea
    Moreno - home to everton
    Chamber - home to spurs
    Moore - away to palace

I'm thinking the first 3 - NLD is usually a goal fest, and palace have also hit a few goals recently.

        Chambers over Moreno?

Interesting, I think both will concede goals, but Moreno offers more attacking potential.

Can you see Arsenal keeping a clean sheet against Spurs?

    decision time

Keep Balo even though liverpool have been poor, everton have been woeful at the back

Get in Aguero - any injury scare is extra scary when it's aguero, but he is a better prospect for the rest of the season

Odd question because he's been quite decent, but is Fonte to Clyne ever worth it before a WC?
