Our Monday afternoon regular is rolled out once again, as we scour the Premier League treatment rooms to assess the players who picked up injuries over the weekend action.

Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey (hamstring), Mikel Arteta (calf) and Jack Wilshere (ankle) were all forced off during Saturday evening’s north London derby. After the match, Arsene Wenger admitted he was somewhat surprised by the Welshman’s withdrawal as central midfield concerns mount up:

“Wilshere, if you look at the incident again, has been tackled and turned his ankle over. Ramsey is a concern that he did his hamstring. I don’t understand because he had a good rest this week, I didn’t play him against Southampton on Tuesday night. It’s a surprise because he’s usually a resistant boy.”

Burnley
According to reports, Lukas Jutkiewicz appeared to pick up a knock in the 4-0 rout at Burnley before being replaced on 67 minutes.

Everton
Kevin Mirallas was stretchered off with a hamstring injury just half an hour into the weekend Merseyside derby. After the match, Roberto Martinez went on to day:

“It seems bad. It’s a hamstring. We’re going to assess him in the next 24 hours. Kevin has been in great form and we’ve got a lot of games coming up. It’s very unfortunate for us.”

Reports today, though, suggest Mirallas could be out for up to a month with the problem.

Man United
Ander Herrera limped out of United’s narrow win over West Ham after sustaining a back problem.

QPR
Sandro was forced off early during the first-half of the R’s defeat at St Mary’s after a clash of heads with Sadio Mane.

Southampton
Florin Gardos missed the weekend win over QPR with a slight calf strain, according to the club’s official Twitter feed.

Tottenham
Goalscorer Nacer Chadli and left-back Danny Rose both limped off with injuries during the north London derby, according to the Tottenham official match report.

West Brom
Baggies left-back Sebastian Pocognoli was subbed off in the latter stages of yesterday’s 4-0 win over Burnley through injury.

West Ham
Mark Noble missed out on the weekend defeat at Old Trafford after picking up a calf injury in training the day before.

Ozil in for Ramsey? Eventually to be replaced by The Walcott?

I just can't see them scoring this week against Chelsea though...I might just keep hold on to Ramsey until after the international break :/

Is it mad to get Welbeck when I can afford Kun/Falcao/Sturridge?

I think that Welbeck will be good value after the next GW.

That's my WC front 3 from last week. Still not 100% convinced welbeck is the right move but gonna give him a few games. If you've got the money and no plans to use it elsewhere go Aguero or Sturridge. I went for beast midfield and Baines in defence so think my decision will come good in next few......hopefully anyway.

They have some nice fixtures coming up, Arsenal, but I don't have any United or City players..

Not mad but.. I think the strikers to have now are Aguero/Costa/Pelle/Sturridge

Want Sturridge, but would have to be done tonight and that's a big risk with CL and then just 1 gw before internationals.

Easier to downgrade Aguero to Sturridge than upgrade Welbeck to Sturridge later.. might have something to say for your decision

Problem is I can't afford Fabregas without a hit next week if I get Kun.
Could do Rooney and Ramsey to Fab and Studge tonight, which would leave 0.0 ITB.
If I get Kun I would get Tadic, but wouldn't have the money for Eriksen->Fab next week. Decisions decisions...

Don't think fabregas is that essential if you have Costa, could go Oscar/Chadli/gerrard etc instead

Gerrard/Silva/Özil would be my picks then. Maybe one of them and Aguero is better than Fabregas + Welbeck?

I have, but all time thinking of switching to Aguero or Sturridge... It just comes down to the questions how you spend the savings and will Aguero be playing enough...Welbeck is good value for money, though.

He is great value, that's why I kind of want him, but feels stupid when I can afford the big hitters.

Exactly, Rvp has scored in the last two, has been in more attacking positions, and has scored over 230 points twice in the last three seasons. Falcao done nothing yet

Fair enough he's scored two in two but before that nothing from 3 games. The price is pretty prohibitive too. Most expensive player in the game

I think it was the right decision. You don't have to have RVP there just because he's the one scoring the points. Its about future points. Well played

Could do with some help. Basically, is it time to wildcard, or is it just a question of finding good replacements for Rooney and Ramsey?

    Begovic, Krul
    Wisdom, Lovren, Bruce, Clyne, Trippier
    Hazard, Ramsey, Sigurdsson, Albrighton, Sterling
    Welbeck, Costa, Rooney

All thoughts welcome and thanks in advance.

how far is Walcott from coming back..?

I need to find a Ramsey replacement, and tbf neither Silva nor ADM is convincing me to take a hit…

Then I came with an idea that maybe I should go for some 2-3 weeks punt, which would be replaced by Wally is he's back by then. If so, then I am looking at the likes of:

    - Downing (due to fixtures mostly - QPR, bur, MCI in the next 3)
    - Mata (he should play CAM with Rooney out, and he has sth to prove)
    - Dyer (also mostly due to fixtures - NEW, sto, LEI - though I ofc already have Siggy)
    - Ozil (shouldn't he play more centrally and forward with Rambo and Wilshare out? Also fixtures after CHE look promising)

How do you find it lads..?

already have Moreno and Sterling, so I think getting another one would a slight overload. Especially that I don't have any City nor United coverage, so I'd rather go for one of those over 3rd Liverpool player

    ADM, Fabregas, Scheiderlin, Sig, Sterling
    Costa, Pelle, Welbeck

Feels like tonights game is free points, as loads of people have nobody playing. Thus very excited about Stoke v newcastle. Wow that feels weird.

It's like the second coming of Wisdom vs Burnley 🙂 I see anything after Saturday as bonus points and already have 6pts from Wisdom. Would snatch your arm off for 6 from Begovic 🙂

Does anyone else think that the announcement that Ramsey is out 6 weeks is just Wengers way of getting him out of Wales games, and that he'll be back starting in gw8 after a "miraculous" recovery?
