Our Monday afternoon regular is rolled out once again, as we scour the Premier League treatment rooms to assess the players who picked up injuries over the weekend action.

Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey (hamstring), Mikel Arteta (calf) and Jack Wilshere (ankle) were all forced off during Saturday evening’s north London derby. After the match, Arsene Wenger admitted he was somewhat surprised by the Welshman’s withdrawal as central midfield concerns mount up:

“Wilshere, if you look at the incident again, has been tackled and turned his ankle over. Ramsey is a concern that he did his hamstring. I don’t understand because he had a good rest this week, I didn’t play him against Southampton on Tuesday night. It’s a surprise because he’s usually a resistant boy.”

Burnley
According to reports, Lukas Jutkiewicz appeared to pick up a knock in the 4-0 rout at Burnley before being replaced on 67 minutes.

Everton
Kevin Mirallas was stretchered off with a hamstring injury just half an hour into the weekend Merseyside derby. After the match, Roberto Martinez went on to day:

“It seems bad. It’s a hamstring. We’re going to assess him in the next 24 hours. Kevin has been in great form and we’ve got a lot of games coming up. It’s very unfortunate for us.”

Reports today, though, suggest Mirallas could be out for up to a month with the problem.

Man United
Ander Herrera limped out of United’s narrow win over West Ham after sustaining a back problem.

QPR
Sandro was forced off early during the first-half of the R’s defeat at St Mary’s after a clash of heads with Sadio Mane.

Southampton
Florin Gardos missed the weekend win over QPR with a slight calf strain, according to the club’s official Twitter feed.

Tottenham
Goalscorer Nacer Chadli and left-back Danny Rose both limped off with injuries during the north London derby, according to the Tottenham official match report.

West Brom
Baggies left-back Sebastian Pocognoli was subbed off in the latter stages of yesterday’s 4-0 win over Burnley through injury.

West Ham
Mark Noble missed out on the weekend defeat at Old Trafford after picking up a calf injury in training the day before.

    Mannone
    Terry, Lovren, Bertrand, Clyne, Duff
    Fabregas, Sterling, Siggy, Ramsey, JWP
    Rooney, Costa, Naismith

Any suggestions? I'm thinking of doing a 8 point hit by doing Rooney > Pelle, Ramsey > Di Maria and JWP to Chadli? I need to do the last ransfer to ba able to bring in Pelle as i already have 3 soton players.

Who'd you go for for the next 3(?), as I am targetting Walcott as soon as he comes back:

    Di Maria
    Silva
    Ozil
    Mata
    Downing
    Dyer

    ?

Silva's a perfect placeholder, imo. We don't know when Walcott will return, even if starts training, so playing the next couple of fixtures with a Downing, Dyer or Mata could backfire badly if you're forced to keep them for longer. City have good fixtures until after Christmas, and Silva is a consistent points scorer, but not so spectacular that you'll mind giving him up for Theo.

Looking for a cheap midfielder for the long run. Given Leicester's great fixtures, can anyone recommend any of their midfield? Will knockaert start soon? Has he been injured or just dropped? I'm willing to take a punt on him if he is to regain his place

Not Leicester but maybe Larsson. I think he's kinda good value. Attacking points more or less 1 in every 3 games so he's due against Stoke next week.

They are playing 3 strikers right now.
Ulloa through the middle, vardy and nugent on wings.
change in formation against easier teams are on cards and he will be the first name on pitch as far as mf is concerned.

Really? Is he on a low amount? 6 years pay off seems a lot. If he gets all of it that is.

Ashley paid off some of Pardews' debts initially and then gave him lengthy contract at low salary per year.

Won't be a big pay off.

Assuming Naismith drops this week would you do?

    A) Naismith, Chadli -> Ulloa, Boyd (-4) this week; ShawX -> Baines for free next week
    B) Save this week. Naismith, Siggy, Shawcross (-4) -> Ulloa, Boyd, Baines next week

I guess the question is basically Siggy or Chadli for the long term.

I have an option to bring in both adm and aguero but it means using my wildcard.

Otherwise it's a -4pts for pelle and adm.

I just feel I can balance out my team a bit better using it now but just feels like I should be saving for double weeks next year.

    Someone help me out

Ferguson's first brush with the law came in February 1991 when he was fined for butting a police officer. A second assault followed two years later when the player was involved in an incident in Edinburgh, striking a man who was on crutches. That also resulted in a fine but less than a year later he was again before the sheriff on an assault charge.

In April this year Ferguson was convicted for the latest incident. Sentence was then adjourned to allow reports to be compiled before he was given a three-month jail term.

He was on the wane by the time the PL came to be TBF.

May have missed my guess there. He was still quite decent mid 90's wasn't he.

No love for John Hartson ?

Have a look at his form especially the Eyal Berkovic incident.

Hard to predict which Man City players will start at this stage of the week.
West Ham forward could be a good call.
      Why Valencia over Sakho?

Next two West Ham games are their easiest of the season:

    QPR (H)
    Burnley (A)

Rooney -> Sakho would be a decent sideways move for 1FT, generating a cash pile for unforseen emergencies.

It's a good move and not sideways. I love that movie.
