So, is this ripe for a WC this week or just wholesale change to the forward line?

    Foster/Krul
    Bertrand / PVA / Moore / Hutton / Chambers
Sterling / Sig / Tadic / Chadli / Di Maria
    Bojan (I know...) / Falcao / Balo

    Cheers

It does need quite a lot of sorting though, to be fair. I do like the midfield, though.

Yeah. I still think Aguero(c) is the correct decision though if the game was to be replayed.

    for Mid, go for :

    1.tadic
    2.cesc
    3.haz keep the faith.
4.chadli & keep the change! to upgrade elsewhere. or even downing

    atm: adm - sterling - sigur - x - y (prob 4.4 tiote/or boyd)

I honestly don't know. Seems a waste to do 2, Chadli has a poor fixture ans Tadic isn't proven yet.

        3.

Hazard and Cesc are getting closer in price. The closer they get, the easier it becomes picking between them.

      Depends on Costa.

As many have Costa as captain, a big score from him will dent your chances.

Honestly, imagine someone got *called up* from their accounting desk job, to go be on international accounting duty for New Zeland?

And, during their time away they risk getting a career ending paper cut. Meaning they potentially could never have a professional accounting job again just because, it was just expected of them to go be a Team New Zealand accountant?

      1. BeachBadger
        • 12 Years

But youve also got to consider the whole of NZ would rather see you play for NZ and for NZ to win the best accountancy country of the past 4 years award than see your accountancy firm do well. May just be worth skipping work one week

Yeah, and so he stays in our teams. Nothing wrong with thinking about dropping him had he blanked 4 times in a row.

technically they could be up to 2.9% off since the next player is at 97.0

I think Baines' rise was perfectly feasible with what we know of how the system works.

              What's a slow riser?

A player is either above threshold or not. There's no in between imo.

Baines was possible with the system, Chambers I'd need to go back and look at and Silva was a surprise but potentially explainable - though I admit that pushes it a bit. But I don't see enough evidence to suggest "hand picked" rises.

No, I'm saying I have a theory. I would be pushing my theory hard to explain Silva but it remains just as plausible, if not more so, than assuming there is a panel of people sitting around in FPL towers reading this site and deciding to intervene manually in the game. The whole trend of FPL over the past few years has been towards more objectivity and away from subjectivity. Why reverse it?

Wow, fplstatistics nailed it pretty much. Jedinak was on 99.6, and the 3rd placed player is on 97.0... meaning that they are off by less than 3.0 (at most).

He had better goal threat stats than Sterling yesterday. Still a top option I reckon, especially with Fernandinho out.

    DDG, Gilks,
    Cahill, Clyne, Naylor, Chambers, Wisdom,
Di Maria, Mane, Sterling, Siggy, Marney,
    Ulloa, Welbeck, Costa

Thinking of changing either Cahill or DDG but maybe Ulloa is a greater priority..
