As always, our Sunday members’ regular delves into the data of the matches played out so far. This time around, Arsenal’s attack, Swansea’s in-form frontman, the Hammers’ raiding left-back and Southampton’s new wide man are amongst our evening assessment.

Good news for #WHUFC as an X-ray confirms leading scorer Sakho suffered no broken bones in Saturdays clash with #MCFC goalkeeper Joe Hart.

I really hate template teams and very popular picks.
Basically I hate players with very high ownerships but I do own most of them and I have a very template team I would say because I wanna on the safe side.
Sometimes I see myself wishing a player picking an injury or getting sent off just so I can get a new face in without worrying about what could have happened lol.
Just a thought before going to bed
    Goodnight DZ

    Forster / (McCarthy)
    Clyne / N. Taylor / Baines / (Duff) / (Wisdom)
Sterling / Siggy / Fabregas / Di Maria / (Boyd)
    Aguero / Pelle / Welbeck

    1 FT, 0.9 ITB.

    What's the obvious choice here?

I had a feeling a while back that Sterling would lose returns with Studge out but held anyway. I wish I'd shipped him out when I had the chance. Feels dumb doing it now...

BR won't persist with Balo. Even Lambert would greatly improve Sterling's prospects. As you said, silly to sell him now.

Eventually my plan was to build value with Fab and hen ship for Haz but I agree with you, he's just not consistent enough to be relied on. I think the teams are wise to his game now.

I need a Chelsea player for QPR, and Hazard's explosive potential sways me towards him. I'm not ready to get Fab back just yet..

Btw, do you see why I was bigging Mane up yet?

If I didn't have Fabregas I might opt for him this week. But as it stand who knows how that match turns out. Only thing weighing on me is Hazard's penchant for flat track bully hauls.

And no, I just don't rate him. He has very little ability with the ball at his feet. Was a simple chance and he took it which is fine but he missed an easier one two weeks ago and his goal last week was ruled an OG so I'm not impressed.

Points should be deducted the next week in situations like that.

Man City will win the champions league
    Reasons
    1. After they beat CSKA, and Roma lose in Munich, the initiative is with them in the group, and a point in Rome will be enough to see them through.
    2. Can't draw Chelsea/Munich in last 16, only 1 in 3 chance of drawing PSG/Barca or Madrid, most times will get Leverkusen, Dortmund, Atletico or Porto
    3. Enough individual quality to see them past all those teams with ease, Yaya Toure slowly getting his form back, Aguero one of the best strikers in the world, Mangala adapting, Silva mesmorising
    4. On a footballing level as a team they're up there with anyone, won't struggle for goals like Chelsea in big European games, nor be too weak like Arsenal, the perfect balance
    5. Only a few really standout teams this year, how many teams would you say are significantly superior to City, 3 perhaps, 4 at most, City at their best are as good as any

28/1 in places, surely an absolute steal? Verdict

Evening. Posted this earlier and would love to hear any thoughts.

If class > form > fixtures, then sorting through the likes of ADM Hazard Sterling Siggy Vs Sanchez Theo Oscar Barkley in the prime Midfielder spots is one of the biggest challenges of the season so far, imo.

Sanchez seems to be the only must get in that equation with Siggy the easiest to drop. Too bad they're the furthest apart in price.

What are you guys doing in midfield?

      http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/west-ham/11188849/West-Ham-goal-machine-Diafra-Sakho-facing-month-out.html

Most reports saying a month. Have also seen some reports he'll be in contention for the Villa game as an x-ray showed it's not a broken collarbone or dislocated shoulder:

      http://www.claretandhugh.info/sakho-injury-update/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

With that in mind the injury sounds like a shoulder separation:

      http://www.physioroom.com/injuries/shoulder/ac_sprain_sum.php

The scan on Monday will be to confirm the extent of the ligament damage - if it's only minor then he could be back for Villa but the Stoke game is highly unlikely.

Is Sakho injury is a big concern?
Plan to do Costa + Siggy ➡ Sakho + Hazard for my 2FT. This will leave me 2.0ITB. Team after transfer will be as below:-

    Begovic . McCarthy
    Baines . Taylor . Moore . Clyne . Hutton
    Boyd . Hazard . ADM . Downing . Sterling
    Agüero . Pellè . Sakho

    Wise move?

I know multiple tranfers for minus points are not popular here, but... (2FT so for -8)

    Coloccini (awful) --> Chambers
Sterling (Pool off form) --> Hazard(c)
    Chadli (not reliable) --> Sanchez
    Costa (i just can't wait for another 0.3 fall) --> Sakho/Berahino

All new players in form and/or good fixtures and Costa falling and Alexis & Berahino rising tonight... So 0.3 swing tonight

I'm sooo tempted... What do you think?

Very brave to do that, every one of the players your transferring out could do well next week bar Collocini, Costa could may well start in which case you'll get all the money back that you've lost by the people who buy him back in, all my opinion, having Sanchez does seem nice though 😛

    Hazard (C) this week.

Haven't felt so sure of a captain choice since Suarez vs Norwich at Anfield last season.

Could be a repeat of his hat trick vs. West Ham last year. I'm tempted to bring him in as well.

Sterling getting shipped in huge numbers. Is this just to fund Sanchez or is there a story I don't know?

They must be mad...Sterling has every chance to come good again when Studge returns.

No..not at all...My son has the template Fab Siggy Sterling ADM midfield so I try to avoid his picks...Nothing sinister..(He's hammering me btw)

Loads of people switching to Sanchez because he scored 2 and now has Burnley while Sterling blanked, simple as that.
