I'm surprised at the amount considering shipping Costa this week. It's only one game. I don't have him and every game I don't have him is the longest 90 mins of the week.especially with his ownership.
If Chelsea tried to do anything after they go 2-0 up I might be worried about not owning him. Also couldn't ever see me captaining him over Aguero from now until the January WC.
guess it's not only the suspension. he's been very poor today.

apart from matic/schneiderlin though there's not many better in holding midfield thoughAt his peak, he was better than Schneiderlin is now. Matic is in a different league physically so would be a bit unfair of me to draw comparisons there.
not really. alonso has said he would be rated much higher abroad where game intelligence is appreciated rather than headless chicken behaviour in midfield, flying into tackles last ditch etc
See above. Maybe he'd be among the best players in a league abroad. He isn't in this one.

There's a real shortage of decent holding mids in the Prem at the moment. I'm not saying he's a bad player. Far from it. Some of the comments I hear about him are well over the top though. They'd have been pushing it a couple of years ago when he really was class.
He's very highly rated in this league too by his fellow players which is why he's been nominated for player of the season. Look at United now, keeping clean sheets, giving Chelsea and City a game. It's no coincidence that it's occurred with the return of Carrick to the team.
He's not been back long though. If it's still happening in a few games time I'll read more into it and say I'm really just missing something.
