QPR’s home hitman hogs the array of impressive numbers on show from the weekend, ably assisted by stellar showings from Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen. Elsewhere in our regular members’ statistical digest, we examine how Man City’s tactical tweaks influenced two of their key midfielders and analyse how a pair of returning United assets are hinting at major hauls as their minutes begin to build.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

That's how early everyone acts. Reactionary instead of proactive. Reactionary you at least have some sort of form to guide you, taking proaction you're basically just guessing

There is very little chance that the starters of any team will be rested on the 26th when they have had 4-6 days rest. The rest will come for some on the 28th and the 1st of Jan. It imakes a lot more sense to give a player 4-6 days rest followed by another 4 days than 6-8 days then 2 days.

Yep, makes sense. But if you're talking about Sanchez (c) I'd still be very careful. The guy looked absolutely knackered today, so I wont be doing it personally.

yeah, has to be silva if you want city double up in mid. looked really great the other day and seem to be benefiting from a more advance position in this new set up.

The problem is who are you selling? Alexis?

I wanted to double up on their defence as an alternative, think they will get CS especially in those home fixtures

Looking at the game stats, he did indeed not touch the ball. That answers my question from the other page too, I guess - the average position is the average of all the touches a player has over the game.

Were it. It for this site I wouldn't have retained Austin or picked up Bentekke. Thanks to the contributors and posters.

I am thinking of getting in Zaba this week. But need one more transfer to fund it. Team is

    Lloris/Hamer
    Bert/Jags/Chambers/Wisdom/Duff
    Haz/Alexis/Yaya/Erikssen/Jedinak
    Rooney/Austin/Bentekke

Thinking Jags to Zaba and Lloris to Pantilimon. For -4.

Looks ok? Or should I downgrade Rooney to Giroud? Thanks.

Rooney -> Giroud. Don't get all the "donkey" stuff with Giroud, I think he's quality. Scores great headers and there not many forwards that are better than him with those near post one touch finishes, imo.

10 flippin players at home this week and can save a FT. Surely my luck will change 🙁

Hazard (WHU), Nasri (wba), Siggy (AVL), Sanchez (QPR)

What to do with this team? 2FT, 0.7M ITB
    http://i.gyazo.com/adc6227107780cee5ec3055b81fbc6eb.png

    Guzan
    Baines Terry N. Taylor
    Sanchez Toure Hazard Downing Siggy
    Sakho Costa

    Bench: Austin, Dummet, Wisdom

    Concerns:

Baines - Good fixtures, poor form, Mirallas is back
Sakho - High points per game, fixture proof
Sigurdsson - Rotates nicely with Austin but worrying form
Costa - Not justifying his price but has potential too. Takes third Chelsea spot

    Have two major options. Either:

    1) Costa>Giroud, Sakho>Benteke
    2) Baines>Debuchy, Sakho>Benteke

Anything else you can think of? 😀

Thoughts on Giroud and Fab in for Sanchez and Costa soon ? Saves a lot of money on Chelsea Arsenal cover and allows money for Bolasie > AdM to leave me all for free by NYD:

    Hart Mccarthy
    Zabaleta Ivanovic Chambers Hutton Yun
    Adm Hazard Sterling Fab Yaya
    Kane Austin Giroud
(Yaya back to Sanchez when he goes ACON )

      No.

Sanchez has been poor, Cazorla has been top class.

he was poor today but that was because arsenal didn't have enough of the ball

He was Arsenals best player by a mile! I thought he was good anyway

Sanchez only had 1 bad game today. Arsenal had 35% possession so he didn't really get the opportunity to do something

I'm sitting at 9.9k (4.8k before GW started) with Costa and Hazard remaining. Since lots have (C) one of them, do I want them to do well? Will 5+ points from each of them see me drop out of the top 10k?

Not everyone has them, think your position will be fairly stable. Its their dfenders you have to worry about

Yeah. But I was looking at top 10k (C) and Hazard and Costa are up their which worries me. I guess I better hope Stoke will score 😀

Costa 14% (2nd most captained player in top 10k behind Yaya)
Hazard 8% (5th most captained player in top 10k)

I think you'll be fine. Autosubs could be a kick in the nuts though, Siggy/Clichy out could mean Clynes, Boyds and Naylors off the bench.

I have Dummett (1 point) coming on 🙁

Played him as first sub over Marney. (2 points)
