Our feast of festive football rolls on this afternoon as Fantasy managers are treated to another nine matches. First up, Spurs take on United at White Hart Lane in a noon kick-off as Mauricio Pochettino’s side look to maintain their recent form and register a fourth successive league win.

There’s no question that Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane are the men in form for the home side. Both found the net once again on Friday in a 2-1 triumph at Leicester – the duo have each returned four goals and two assists in the last seven matches and face a defence with a single away clean sheet (at Burnley in Gameweek 3) this season.

United have their own form players, though. Despite being shifted to central midfield, Wayne Rooney has racked up five goals and two assists in his last six appearances, mirroring the output of Robin van Persie. With Juan Mata and Radamel Falcao also in fine fettle, the Red Devils still have plenty of strong options in the final third despite the absence of Angel di Maria, who has failed to recover from a pelvic injury.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Anyone would think these players played less than 48 hours ago. Proves a point, too many games.

I still have Giroud having brought in Silva for Jedinak this week.

Should I do Giroud > Benteke or Forster > Courtois next week?

After getting burnt with Giroud I am a bit wary of Tekkers who is also partial to the odd red card. He has good fixtures though, Palace, Leicester and Liverpool (who he loves scoring against).

Some players just need to stay calm to be in the zone. I try to do that in my very low level football, but always end up going psycho 😆
