The last match of a quick-fire Gameweek 20 takes place at White Hart Lane this evening as Tottenham entertain London neighbours Chelsea. Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be desperate to avenge their 3-0 reverse at Stamford Bridge early last month and welcome their visitors in fine form, having dropped just two points in the last four matches.

Up against a defence with six clean sheets in eight, though, the home side face a tough task. Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen are the dangermen here – both players have served up four goals and two assists in their last eight, with Eriksen edging it for bonus by ten points to nine.

For Chelsea, John Terry will be looking for a third goal in four appearances in what has been a favourable festive period for the Blues’ skipper. Eden Hazard goes into this one with a goal or assist in each of his last four, though Cesc Fabregas has been the league leaders’ most consistent performer on the road, with returns in seven of his ten away appearances. Up front, Diego Costa’s underlying stats remain strong in spite of some limited recent returns – he’ll be looking to notch on the road for the first time since Gameweek 11.

The team news offers few surprises from the Chelsea camp as Cesar Azpilicueta is recalled at left-back, while Oscar and Willian return in midfield for Mikel and Andre Schurrle – Cesc Fabregas will switch to a deeper role alongside Nemanja Matic, then. Spurs make three changes in opposition – Danny Rose comes in for Ben Davies at left-back, Kyle Walker is recalled for Vlad Chiriches on the right and Nabil Bentaleb recovers from illness to replace Benjamin Stambouli in the middle of the park.

Aston Villa, Chelsea (despite today), West Brom soon, Southampton are fairly solid and Burnley.

    My wildcard team aspiration

    Foster, Myhill
    Clyne, Bertrand, Wisdom, Naylor, Yun
    Hazard, Sanchez, ADM, Siggy, Boyd
    Costa, Austin, Aguero

Sadly this is too expensive by £1.7m

Dropping Bertie to Alderweireld - lowers this to £0.9

Which of the big players is "least essential"?

I am likely selling Benteke for Kane. One can argue it's chasing points, but Benteke has done nothing with two home matches against weaker teams, so my confidence away against a weak team is not as high as it is with a red hot striker such as Kane on a stronger more offensive minded team, playing against anyone.

Big selection headache for next week..

Siggy (WHU), Fab (NEW), Sanchez (STK), Haz (NEW) Eriksen (cry)

Kane (cry) , Costa (NEW), Austin (bur)

Bearing in mind I have just been burnt by benching Kane, who do I bench for next week?
I cant pick between the front 8, given their fixtures and form... Any suggestions?

realistically have to only remove Bony as I could keep Demi a week since his price is going nowhere and start Hutton..

    have 6.3m to spend

    Guzan
    Demi ᵈ Zaba ᵈ Terry ᵈ Hutton ᵈ Chambers
    Silva ᵐ Hazard ᵐ Sanchez ᵐ Downing ᵐ Marney
    Austin ᶠ Bony ᶠ Kane

    thinking Bony > Giroud 😉

Please help! Advice appreciated. Have 2FT 0ITB:

    Hart
    Baines* Ivan Skrtel Wisdom Duff
Haz Sanchez Siggy (got at 6.0) Downing (got at 5.7) Ameobi
    Costa Benteke Austin

Shocking GW so far - on 15 points before Chelsea points.

Baines has had it - would like to get Silva in but that would mean getting rid of Downing or Siggy who I have at good value and would probably be in my WC team so I don't think getting rid is a good idea? Would also like to give Benteke one more week.

    Possible options:

    A) Baines > Trippier (save FT)
    B) Baines + SIggy > Cameron/Hutton/Wasilewski + Silva
    C) Baines + Benteke + Austin > Trippier + Rooney + Kane -4
    D) Your suggestion please!

    Thanks.

Played around a little more. Not pulling the WC yet, but how's this provisional team?

    Foster, Myhill
    Bertrand, Toby, Naylor, Wisdom, Yun
    Sanchez, Fabregas, ADM, Siggy, Boyd
    Costa, Aguero, Austin

Don't feel great about having Fab over Haz, but the difference between ADM and Sanchez and their teammates is much greater than that between Fab and Haz
