The Premier League have confirmed the first double Gameweek of the season earlier this afternoon. QPR’s home clash against Spurs, which was originally scheduled for Sunday March 1, has been cancelled due to the latter’s progress to the Capital One Cup Final on the same day.

The date has now been moved to Saturday March 7, with both clubs already out of the FA Cup. This means that QPR and Spurs have a blank Gameweek 27 but then follow this up with a double Gameweek 28 – Spurs will host Swansea on Wednesday, March 4, before heading to Loftus Road three days later, whilst the R’s entertain Arsenal prior to playing host to their north London rivals.

Today’s news may persuade non-Tottenham owners to steer clear for now. Mauricio Pochettino’s side face West Brom, Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham in the next four and with a blank to follow their Hammers showdown, it may well be that we turn our attentions away from the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli until Gameweek 28, when the fixtures take a turn for the better.

Charlie Austin’s short-term prospects are also questionable. The travel-sick R’s face three road trips in four (sto, SOT, sun, hul) before their blank, and whilst his home clashes with Arsenal and Spurs may deter some, it’s worth noting he’s notched against four of the top five already this season and can clearly deliver regardless of fixture.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Looks like a clear choice for the community.

Worth going for them for a hit in place of Chadli & Costa, as I also have Ivanovic and Sanchez, whom I wanna keep though?

Is Puncheon too expensive for 5th mid? I usually play 3-4-3 and won't probably ever drop Haz,Sanchez,Adm,Sterling.

Honestly, its now gone too far to be stopped. FFP gives punishment via fines, wheres the logic behind that? I even used to have love for Chelsea back in the day when they had Vialli, Poyet, Zola etc. Now i hate them, and i dont throw that word around too much. City are dirty too, but Chelsea started this whole thing and its honestly made football an ugly business. Its more so a business than a game at this point.

    Kun, Kane, Bojan

    Foster, Trippier ,Alder , Bojan

    3/5 week punt..
    A) Sterling + Jones/5.5
WHM with song/jenkinson/tomkins/collins all doubts.. and with Sturridge probably back(and if not then one last hurrah @ being OOP) followed by clashes with everton and TOT with usually spells goals and i'm very tempted by Sterling!

    B) Adm + Bellerin/Hutton/4.4 (already have pva, wisdom)
Great, great fixtures for Adm but not sure about form at all.. Could be a lot more explosive though.

yep Ramsey also an under the radar option who will benefit immensely from the return of all the quality mids to the fold, plus he was already making those late runs he loves in the cup

What you think about Ospina, first goalie?

Wenger - "The squad will be exactly the same as last Sunday. The only uncertainty we have is Alexis Sanchez who has a hamstring concern"

Ospina did not play fa cup.

Arsenal want to sign Lloris in the summer and the player wants to play in the Champions League but could be hard due to rivalry. (L'Equipe)

Would be an ultimate decision by Ruthless Arsene if he we signed Lloris and binned Szczesny. L'Equipe has been pretty reliable with Arsenal news since 2013 summer

What about Costa? Will he get a suspension? If yes, for how long?

    Thanks

The original sentence was 3 games, but now given that they have appealed, it will be either 0 games or more than the 3, my guess would be 5. Sentencing on friday.
