It's weird to have brought in PVA on the wild card but have his points on the bench. If I had wild carded this week I would have accused myself of chasing last week's points...

You probably should have played him at home to Burnley

        This
I dropped Jones for him last minute
Was gutted when I saw Sunderland were going 4-4-2, but it paid off in the end

Both full backs got assists which is good for future prospects.

Wisdom was a good pick for defensive points but given PVA's attacking threat wisdom would need a much better fixture be the better pick.

Easy to say in hindsight but Burnley scored two at the Etihad so doubling up wasn't a no-brainer.

All depends on your FPL aims. If your main goal is to finish as high up as possible don't worry about doubling up just the players that you expect to score highest and if it doesn't work out just live with it.

It looks like I'll get PvA off my bench, but I wasn't thinking banker cleanie for Sunderland.

With City's upcoming fixtures will omitting Silva from my team be a bad idea? I could do:

    Koscielny>Alderweireld
    Sterling>Silva

    -4

    That leaves no Liverpool "cover"

You gotta chill mate! Saving a transfer should always be first second and third options! Can make so much more impactful changes on your team with two frees. In my view anyway..

Hull just got destroyed today...and City have almost their full squad up to date. Perfect game for him. Good point though. Keeping my FT will be better.

It has taken me 3 seasons to realise the best thing to do is not make unnecessary transfers only do it if you have injuries, don't try to get in this weeks vogue player over a season it will pay off. In fact all season I have had this scene running through my mind when thinking what to do http://youtu.be/rdlL65LD6I4?t=1m18s

Arsenal tomorrow is perhaps the biggest game so far in FPL terms? Massive Giroud ownership and captaincy, Wally or Cazorla? Will Sanchez start/play? Who are your subs if not? Bellerin or Chambers? Chesney or Ospina? Love it 😀

    Wally (c) btw

Would be brilliant if Sanchez plays and assists two goals to Giroud 🙂
Koscielny cleansheet would be nice too.

Not getting too happy yet though. Villa beat Arsenal at the Emirates last season.
You never know with football. It'd be an Arsenal thing to beat City and lose to Villa the week after.

If you got the cash, he's not a bad 5th middy option. Next fixtures are New, MANCITY, Villa, HULL, EVE, wba, CPL

Its not completely without merit, mainly because he provides a decent option for WK27. For me it was between him, Moses and Puncheon. (i picked Puncheon)

    6. Yank Revolution
      • 14 Years
      11 years, 2 months ago

Sigh....what people who DON'T have Walters are failing to realize is that he will continue to amass points because of:
      a) Where he is now playing
      b) Weak strikers who won't force him back to central midfield
      c) No Bojan
      d) Walters has done this before when pushed forward in the formation
      e) Fixtures are kind.
      f) Has penos

As I've said before, ignore him at your own peril.

If this seems to hold true, then i'll rotate him. but rest of my midfield is Haz, Sanchez, Sterling, ADM. think they'll produce more points

Well, yeah, but they also cost way way more. I'm not a fan of the "4 big hitter" theory in MF this season. Too many good mid-bracket MFs putting up points.

Grade 1 hamstring strain usually 1-3 weeks.

If Walcott and Ozil do well tomorrow Wenger may be cautious with Sanchez.

Tight hamstring is a Grade 1 strain. Grade 1 is the mildest hamstring injury.

Fabregas had a tight hamstring and wasn't even on the bench today for a crucial game. Can't see Sanchez being risked for Villa (h).

Before electronic music got very commercial. Trance was indeed a nice genre then.

Hoping for something like this to happen in the prematch press conference before the Arsenal vs Aston Villa game

Reporter : So, Mr. Wenger what's the team news..who comes in for Sanchez? Does your new signing in Gabriel Paulista make his debut?
    Arsene : Well..no, Sanchez starts!
Reporter : But you said that he is injured & unlikely to play.
Arsene: Well, you see I'm a big fan of fpl & this year my team is kind of struggling..so I had to do something right?!
