Still standing. 360 odd left after this week. 45 could be safe.

            Plan is Costa>Cisse>Kane.

Costa v Burnley and Cisse v Villa, both at home.

Too many transfers with DGW coming up though?

I think it's a decent plan. Only thing is that any injuries/suspensions can change that plan very quickly.

Hope it pays off for you. Costa is a great differential this week. 🙂

I think I would. As you can afford him on the bench. You will need it to be a DGW player anyway so either him or Kane for me and Chelsea have the better fixture

Of course. I've only been without for three GWs and he's scored five goals in that time. But not bringing him in before the blank.

It is interesting we all want to maximize the DGW while not messing up the weeks around it. I plan on loading the bench for blank. But if the Chelsea DGW is later things change.

That makes sense. You have some uncertain starters (Baird, Walcott, Caz JWP), which could leave you short a player or two in GW27 with Hazard and Eriksen benched. Maybe use one FT to address the least likely starter, which is probably Baird?

Yeah. I think I may save one this week and do just that next week. Not too concerned about this GW. A punt on Costa home to Burnley seems a must.

Alder is a good pick if finally fit, but then you already own Fonte. I wouldn't mind doubling up though. Try Lescott too, or even a NEW defender like Colo.

Keep in mind that from now until GW27, you have 3 FTs to prepare your team to face the blanks. Albrighton and Baird are your main concerns then.

Having said that, I think Falcao > Giroud/Defoe is a decent shout. Those extra funds might become handy in sorting out your bench.

      Repost.

I'm not going to give you simply a label. Instead I suggest you focus on regions where the locals are serious about their beers.

      1. Belgian, their fruity beers from Chimay, Leffe are outstanding
      2. Germany, their bocks or doppelbocks are geat, e.g. Andescher
      3. Irish, Murphy's or Guiness are world famous
      4. Australian, they have good lighter stuff like Cascade or Imperial Stouts like Murray's, Wig&Pen.

So Cuadrado looked great today, made some great passes and in general was always a menace out wide and connected well with Remy. It seems his addition to the team has put William on full alert putting in another good performance, it will be interesting to see how Costa and Cuadrado play off each other next GW if both start.

Fwiw I think his stats from 2013/2014 are a better indication of his ability, he's a pure winger and is a great on the counter. This season at Fiorentina he was hindered with more offensive burden as the Viola's top goal scorer in Rossi was injured and was slotted in the hole (not his natural position).

    2013/2014 http://www.espnfc.com/player/118986/juan-cuadrado?season=2013
    2014/2015 http://www.espnfc.com/player/118986/juan-cuadrado?season=2014

It's probably unfair of me to judge as I didn't watch the full match just in and out for pieces. I just think he has been hyped up a lot for his pace and being a good singer but I didn't see him take on players a lot or have decent crosses. As I said I did not see the full match though

I guess yeah, and perhaps he wouldn't of had it so easy with a fit Baines on the left, but nevertheless was one of the most creative players on the pitch.

You're right about the crossing though, some poor ones for sure. Let's hope he has a better delivery next game with Costa back on the green

Starting to think that he might replace Oscar actually, Mourinho loves his defensive wingers and the game was an indication that he was willing to try it out with Hazard Willian and Cuadrado swapping positions all game long. We'll see!

    Quick poll.

Will Costa get to his DGW without getting 2 Yellow Cads and be suspended for his DGW?

    A. Yes, he's a perfect yellow ribbon role model
    B. No, he is still a dirty obnoxious player.

      I start.

      B. Especially since his DGW is not likely on GW 28. Not enough notice period + UCL. So if GW 29 or later he needs to finish 4-5 games without yellows...

Hey guys. So I've just finished my second last exam for the trimester and have very much ignored FPL recently, and its showing. Naturally when I have a lessened interest in the game and have tended toward follow the pack (as seen below). Since before Christmas and NY I have dropped out of the top 10k and have struggled to find any form, though staying in good reach of the mark. I need some differentials through some forward thinking or else I cannot see myself pushing back where I believe I should be after what ultimately has been a pretty positive season - in the top 10k...

What needs to be done to this team to start gaining that ground back?

    Pantilimon

    PvA - Fonte - Terry
    Sanchez - Cazorla - Hazard - Silva
    Aguero - Kane - Defoe

    Myhill - Wisdom - Hutton - Boyd

    With 1FT and 2.2m ITB.

Solid team there Jarvis, I personally think Cazorla's run has come to an end and he may play slightly deeper than usual while Ramsey is injured. It's an easy swap from him to Eriksen though if you want to keep him for a couple more weeks.

Wisdom is your weak spot on the bench, you could sell him to someone like Wollscheid (good GW27 fixture) which would help you out in the blank week. Overall not much at all needs to be done though.

      1. Jarvis
        • 12 Years
        11 years, 2 months ago

I think i'm going to have to hold onto Cazorla for the next few weeks with respect to their fixtures and Wisdom/any other injuries that may happen in the next 10 days.

Keeping a close eye on Wollscheid

Same I have Wisdom to ship, and injuries to Walters, Sterling, Sanchez, Aguero to monitor, AND I need everyone playing to make 11 for blank GW27.

Worth taking a -4 to get Caz > Ozil?
