(Semi re-posted from last page, as page moved).

85 and I played my WC.

Made a good pick in N'Doye over Vardy, benched the right man out of Kane and Sanchez but... it's been said many times, Schlupp and Moreno aaaaaarrrgh. I was on a Hull defender instead of Schlupp until the last minute too.

(Captain choice was poor too, but it was always going to be Haz if not Sterling, so meh).

I think if I had 106 I would be very happy. As it is, it feels like a real "what might have been" for me.

It's funny when I look at the league table and see Burnley bottom

They seemed to be the best of the "lesser" teams this season and had some big results, but I guess theyve blown the 6 pointers?

rp obviously will wait until Friday for the presser, but Mourinho is a dirty liar. tempted to let the good times roll and instead of saving just doing Costa > Giroud and calling quits on that punt.

    __________Schmeichel
    ______Terry - Smalling - Skrtel
    Henderson - Ramsey - Sterling - Hazard
    _____Costa - Benteke - Aguero

    Panti; Albrighton, Morgan, PvA

2 major questions and I will be set for gw35.

    1) Getting rid of Murray, his fixtures are terrible. Who do we pick up? have 4.4 ITB

    2) Is dropping one of my 3 sou defenders/keeper for Kosc worthy of a -4? Have Davis Aldweireld and Clyne.

      3. Ruth_NZ

To be an "average/bad" wildcarder you had to be keeping too many "old template" players. Though it remains to be seen how the likes of Kane, Silva, Austin, Clyne, Bertrand will perform over the next weeks.

Leicester players are no issue for wildcarders because they have great fixtures and are cheap enough to bench anyway. Hull similar although fixtures aren't so good apart from Burnley GW36.

How Liverpool and Chelsea assets perform over the next 2-3 weeks relative to the "old template" players and how ready wildcard teams will be for DGW37 will define how successful the wildcards actually were. Virtually all wildcarders will have 3 each of Chelsea/Liverpool and wildcard success therefore can't be assessed on 1 GW.

I thought he struggled tonight I think that foot (as reported by HDAL) is giving him trouble and may be even under pressure to start a 3rd game in a week.
Might not be a bad time for Newc to go there Demi.

That's true, think he did good first half, then leicester as a whole really faded after they scored.

Might be worth selling then, but doesn't seem a priority this week for many i think. depends on who u want to bring in i guess

I'm getting Giroud as planned, I've that feeling and I'm gonna go with it.
              - those hull Cs can't keep up
              - Leicester may tire and boy do Newc need some points for safety.
I'm a firm believer in the law of averages.

And that's fair, but does that mean you do a background check on each player before you bring them in? I get the JT hate, I really do, but dig around and you'll probably find a number of players with nasty stuff.

Yes. True. Probably a good reason not to probe too much into it. If I realised they were all scum, could I watch the game? I wouldn't want to see Terry play for England. Like, genuinely, he was fantastic against Arsenal (I'm a gooner), but this is someone who just should not represent england, should not be represent the game.

I understand your point of view, and I can appreciate that being a decent person is a very high priority for you. That's a good thing, btw. But in the world of professional sports, so many of the greats have had big negatives in their personalities and how they live their lives. Right across the board, you have racists, homophobes, cheaters (both in the realms of the game and in the realms of cheating on their partners), some have assaulted people, some have even killed people.

It would be nice if only the most moral and decent people were the best in their fields/professions, but that isn't necessarily the case in life, not alone sports.

Hey, look, I agree. I am n f**ing angel. I've done my fair share of s**t. Ad people do their s**t. I can deal with that. I can deal with football players doing the wrong s**t and then growing up or apologising. We all make mistakes.

Terry, however, he just cuts my ar*ehole.

What do you know? Not aware that Terry was cleared in a Court of Law? Not aware that the FA punished Terry for using racist language but specified that they didn't believe him to be a racist? Not aware that Terry has successfully captained a team containing many black players (some of whom are close friends) for 12 years? Not aware that Rio Ferdinand was punished similarly by the FA for use of racist language related to the same incident?

It seems to me that you are judging not on what you know but on what you choose to believe. For whatever reason.
