Has he just burnt himself out? He seems non existent on the field, not sure whether to keep/bench/get rid

He's still on pens so pointless selling him if you have other issues as he can still play badly and take a pen.

I said to someone this Saturday at half time that the next time he will score a league goal is 3rd game of next season. I have truly cursed him!

I'd like to make a couple of points on Falcao. I have no doubt he's leaving but frankly I think it's a shame

They say class is permanent and he was the best striker in Europe for 5 years before a serious knee injury which was always going to take time to recover from. This meant he had very little pre-season and really had no time to bed in at United. But I was watching him closely today and I'm convinced that it's not that Falcao isn't good enough for us, it's that we're not good enough for him.

His movement in and around the box is as sharp as it ever was (there was also a moment in the 2nd half when he beat about 4 Arsenal players with a brilliant bit of skill and won a free kick in a dangerous area) but even our most creative players (Mata and Herrera) are simply not seeing them .
This means he often has to come deep or move into the channels to get the ball, what fecking use is he there? Also, it's no co-incidence IMO that Arsenal started to get on top when he went off for RvP. No matter what else was happening, Falcao was defending from the front, he was constantly pressurising Ospina, Kos and Mert, giving them no time on the ball to find passes and forcing lots of errors.

Then he went off and RvP came on and just strolled around like he didn't give a sh!t and constantly got caught offside. Suddenly Kos and Mert had 10-15 seconds on the ball as opposed to 2-3 so they were now able to start feeding passes to Caz, Ozil and Sanchez and Arsenal grew into the game and started to dominate

In short, I'd like to see Falcao stay, get a proper pre-season and give our players a better chance and knowing his game, but I suspect he is off

I just hope RvP follows him out of the door. His contribution to our last league title will always be remembered, but he's done for now

All the strikers there seem to be suffering under the current playing style of United at the moment .

Having said that in all sports you see athletes that never gain the same level after a serious injury , and Falcao has shown nothing since he's return

I'd actually love us to extend his loan for another 6 months (on a smaller pay obviously) and give him a shot. We're too indirect at the moment which seems to be our problem - we need our players to pass the ball forward looking for a run.

Man Utd could get someone who will do as good of not better job for nowhere near as much money.

I know what you mean re the second point for sure. That's why players like Shane Long get so much criticism from opposition fans but are still loved by their own. I'm a Southampton fan and this season so many teams have made horrendous defensive errors vs us. No coincidence, it is the pressure from aggressive front play.

However.... Falcao still isn't worth the money being talked about.

Palace/Swansea could be a high scoring game. Palace could earn 7.5million extra by winning and moving above Everton.

Wow... Tom Fenley has gone from 42k to 17k in a time which *included* a 52 point hit.

Actually I might have got that wrong. Including the hit he went from 27k to 17k though.

      Either way well done Tom!
