    Would appreciate a RMT:

    Hennessey / Butland
    Azpilicueta / Coleman / Ward / Muniesa / Baker
    Chadli / Silva / Ramsey / Henderson / Hazard
    Wilson / Rooney / Sakho

Any suggestions would be great - thank you all

Just to add - save for a couple of weeks STK & CRY make good rotation pairs so the intention is to rotate keeper and defender 3 based on this, have Azi, Coleman & the midfield in pretty much permanently, and rotate Wilson & Sakho

    Morning All,

Not so much an RMT as an AIM - Am I mad? I'm currently having a massive dilemma regarding my choice of Chelsea midfielder. At this very moment, Oscar sits in the position, but Hazard (and specifically, the possibility of losing points against league opponents) keeps winking at me from all the other RMTs. What are people's thoughts? Is Oscar likely to get the game time? I was a little underwhelmed by Hazard in the Community Shield I must admit. Including Hazard would require me to downgrade Tekkers to either Deeney (not completely convinced) or Wilson, but I would rather not have 3 BOU players.

    Boruc (Myhill)
    Koscielny-Morgan-Martin (Coates-Richards)
    Ritchie-Mane-Oscar-Silva-Ozil
    Benteke-Rooney (Sakho)

No matter if you plan to bring Haz (i'm not a fan of this option) I surely would avoid Oscar... He isn't nailed and doesn't have a great point history in fantasy... Surely you can find someone better for that prize. What I can recommend is to downgrade Ritchie for Mahrez or Sinclair and upgrade Oscar to Fabregas...

Thanks mate, will look at mahrez/sinclair. Although I think Ritchie might be this year's legend...

Its a massive risk going without Haz. Could be way behind at the start but that's your choice.

I don't think Oscar is a bad shout - although not 100% nailed on is a worry

      Thoughts on mine below?

Ok guys... Tell me if I completely lost my mind...;)

There was a discussion here about when to play AOA chip and I strongly believe that if you plan early WC, then GW1 is one of the best moments to play it... I was always leaning to plan, which includes team with one midfielder of a lowest possible value to release some extra funds for the rest of the team. So if you want to play 5 mid and 3 forwards, that has some scoring potential then you need at least 3 tranfers to bring that 5th expensive midfielder in and then out (2 in, 1 out). you can safe 2 transfers, whrn they are free - before the start of the season or when playin WC. And if you consider early WC, there are only 3-4 gameweeks you have to worry about while planning, which gives you opportunity for even more reckless moves...

Bearing all above in mind - this is how my team will look in GW1:

    Schmeichel
    Mert, Azpu
    Wally, Fabs, Ozil, Mane, Mata
    Rooney(c), Pelle, Wilson

    Bench:

    Hennesey, Targett, Prodl, Oshea

I plan to make WC after GW3 or GW4 and if I will be speared some injury crisis I have a decent coverage on all parts of a pitch during first period of game... I most probably am capable of bringing Aguero for GW4 (WAT) without a hit...

    What do you think?

    1. Will - Fantasy Football Hub

Not a fan of using AOA chip in first GW. Think its better spent when you have more funds.

If your sure on it then team looks good. Id be worried not having Haz but I'm sure you know the risk with that!

      Thoughts on mine below?

  4. Will - Fantasy Football Hub

    Final draft (I think)

    Ruddy (Hennessey)
    Ivan Kos Cedric (Coates ,Saylor)
    Haz Mane Wally Lens (Benteleb)
    Rooney Benteke Sakho

Will be wildcarding in GW4 so not fussed about 4.0 defender or keeper.

    Thoughts?

Happy to offer a rmt in exchange 🙂

Nice front line (!), are you convinced by Walcott? Will he get the minutes? I've been toying with The Ox, Wenger seems to prefer him on the right.

He has been in and out of my team.

I think he will get the minutes especially against weak opposition (which is when you want him to).. but he is a gamble.

I'm not keen on Ox personally

You shouldn't spend that much on defense bro 🙂 .. Your Defenders alone are worth 30.5 mil. which is way tooo much 😀 .

I would suggest downgrading 2 of your defenders to some cheap but decent defenders giving you the ability to rotate your squad when needed like :

      - Richards ( Aston Villa 4.5 )
      - O'Shea ( Sunderland 4.5 )
      - Ward ( Crystal Palace 4.0 )
      - ...........

You should also upgrade your midfield :

" Coquelin " .. Great Defensive midfielder but not a fantasy player .. he's not a goal scorer.
" Fernando " .. Also not a player you would want in a fantasy line-up .. He won't get you major points.

So I would consider upgrading those 2 and maybe " Schneiderlin " as well .. Man U has too many midfielders .. so he might not be a regular starter.

      Good Luck Bro 🙂

Thank you for giving good advice. Appreciate it!

But is it not like if my defenders (and my gk) keep a clean sheet, then they score points? I figured chelsea and everton are conceeding few goals in a season, then they will earn good points?

The point about manu midfielders is something i have not thought about, so thank you for that 🙂

        So to conclude:

GK is worth the money if he is a regular and keeps a clean sheet

DEF is good with two/three decent stoppers and two/three aggressive and attacking backs that also might gain a few points on assists.

MID is worth paying extra for regular centrals which serve plenty assists, the occasional set-piece goal and now and then maybe a penalty

        ATT is all out goalscorers

I assume the subs should be there to swich it up if a regular on my team faces a tough clash without much hope of gaining points.

Is this a good theory to base my squad on?

        1. Le _ Professeur
          • 8 Years
          8 years, 9 months ago

          Yeah that's a pretty good theory 🙂

You should take into account that " Everton " will have a tough start to this season. They will be facing " Southampton " (A)," Man City " (H)," Spurs " (A) and " Chelsea " (H) in a row in the first 5 weeks and " Liverpool " (H), " Man Utd " (H) and " Arsenal " (A) in a row in the next 5 weeks.

So betting on clean sheets from " Everton " defenders is kind of a risk.

          Good Luck 🙂

            Thanks.
This resulted in a total mix up in my team to make the money reach, and i think i hav a way better all-roud team now.
I will post a new RMT shortly, all the advice taken into concideration.

            Thank you again 😀

Thoughts...? I'm toying with 2 options...

    Fabianski (Hennessey)
    Azpilicueta Cedric Francis (Morgan, Bassong)
    Hazard Tadic Ozil Sterling (Ritchie)
    Rooney Benteke Wilson/Deeney

A bit unsure about having 3 BOU players and undecided on 3-5-2 or 3-4-3. I feel it's a bit weak at the back but I rarely spend much on Def. Bit risky relying on Fabianski for the whole season as my main keeper too.

My other lineup I've been considering...

    Butland (Myhill)
    Ivanovic Cedric Francis (Morgan, Bassong)
    Hazard Tadic Ozil Silva (Ritchie)
    Rooney Sakho Deeney/Wilson

Again unsure on 3 BOU players but they do have good fixtures and I feel it's quite weak up top.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

    - Schmeichel -
    - Clyne Azpilicueta Bellerín -
    - Sinclair Walcott Barry Hazard -
    - Kane Benteke Rooney -

[ Schwarzer Bacuna Wanyama Francis ]
Kane --> Costa with 1.5m in the bank.

Keep your 1.5 in the bank if you want to go with the plan to get Costa.

RMT please (no replies to me on last page, thread got hijacked..)

Going without Hazard for the first few as I feel it may take him time to find his cutting edge again. And his first 3 games are tough.

    Butland/Ruddy
    Ivan, Bellerin, Huth, Coates, Oxford
    Fab, Walcott, Ozil, Mane, Henderson
    Rooney, Sakho, 4.5

Got 2.5 in the bank so I can upgrade a Walcott/Ozil to a Sanchez or a Rooney to an Aguero..

coquelin is a starter... so thats a plus... and the other option is wanyama... probably gonna wait till gw5-6 before taking a decision on another player in the same price range...

will move to chadli after the manu game.. =) ..not playing rose in gw1 so i think i will stick with him ...at least for a few games...

I also started out with coq, but been adviced to not go with him, seeing he is more a def midfielder and wont score/assist much to win points.
Other than that, i think you got a good starting team.

Hi guys, still trying to make team, but i would want to see if im in good direction.

So, right now i made it like this, and i just need to mention that Courtouis is here just to fill in, i think i will go with Cech during the season, i put Courtois in so i could just enter the league with my team

    GK: Cech/Courtouis
Defenders: Bellerin, Francis, Darmian (subs Steven Taylor and Patrick Anholt (Sunderland have nice schedule in beggining, and they are good for rotation)
Midfielders: Cazorla, Ritchie, Depay (im still reconsidering it), Hazard (Shelvey sub)
    Forward: Rooney, Deeney, Benteke

      Hello,

Thank you to Cheesus and The Nuttman for their feedback to my original team. The team as it looks now is substantially different after about 20 drafts.

      I've read here that it's not the done thing to keep adding new drafts here so I would like feedback on what people think is the better combo between these two;

      Coleman, Brunt & Wanyama or
      Soares, Cabaye & Coquelin.

Quite new to this so some advice would be helpful. Please rate my team!

      Schmeichel (Mignolet)
      Ivanovic, Martin, Yoshida (B.Jones, Naughton)
      Walcott, Fabregas, Ritchie, Mane, Ozil(V)
      Rooney(C), Benteke (Deeney)

      No money left in bank...

Any help would be gratefully received!

        RMT pls:

        Cech (Rudd)
        Darmian, Azpil, Ivan (Huth, Baker)
        Ox, Walcott, Puncheon, Henderson, Haz
        Rooney, Lukaka (deeney)

I got rid of Depay/Benteke. Unsure on how they'll do so went for some regs.

Also thoughts on either Puncheon/Cech or rather go Lloris/Bolasie?
