Our members articles analysing last season are completed today with a review of West Ham’s performances. The Hammers entered 2014/15 in reasonable health, having finished 13th in the Premier League in the previous campaign, although they only gained 40 points and did flirt with the relegation zone before finally confirming their top-flight status.

Plenty of changes were made in both playing and coaching personnel at Upton Park last summer, with forwards Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho brought in, while Teddy Sheringham joined up as an attacking coach. Cheikhou Kouyate and Aaron Cresswell were also signed, while Carl Jenkinson and Alex Song moved to the Hammers on season-long loans.

In this members article, we asses the main goal threats and creators in Sam Allardyce’s final year at the helm and also compare the team’s attacking numbers to the previous year.

My plans look so much nicer if you ignore him, but how do you ignore him and plan for Kun without a wc?

    First RMT of the season.
With so many great midfield options I will go for a 3-5-2

    Pantillimon (Henessey)
Darmian - Bellerin - Gomez (Cedric - Target)
    Sterling - Walcott - Depay - Özil - Fabregas
    Sakho - Pellé (Ighalo)

3.0m in the bank for upgrades

I will maybe switch Pellé to Rooney before I finalise the team.

    What is your verdict?

  5. ChickenTikkaMoSalah

Please can someone rate my team out of 10

    Goalkeeper: Pantillimon
    Defence: Cedric Mertesacker Azpillicueta
    Mids: Hazard, Ritchie,Walcott, Silva
    Forwards: Rooney, Pelle, Deeney

    Bench: Schmeicel Francis Huth Wanyama

I will rotate Pantillimon and Schmeicel according to fixtures

Feel free to advise me on captain.

    THANK YOU!!

if you've got Kun and Hazard it's almost impossible to get Sanchez as well

It's 35.5m for the 3. Doesn't leave much left and you've got 12 other players to get in

He's the obvious striker below 8.5, in my opinion. Offers way more initial value than Deeny or C. Wilson (allthough they might be worth drafting in as the season progress).

After days of tinkering, I think I'm pretty pleased. I would like to double up on Chelsea in attack. I would like some more United coverage. I would really like to know who's the best below 8.5 pick in midfield. Should I go for Mane, Hendo or Milner instead? But right now, I think this is a strong team with potential for good scores, who also gives the flexibility to make changes early on.

    Ruddy / Rudd
    Azpi / Mert / Cedric / Huth / S. Taylor
    Hazard / Walcott / Sterling / Chadli / Westwood
    Rooney / Benteke / Sakho

Should I be pleased? Can I leave this till Saturday?

Is anyone leaving some money ITB?

Last season I was always short when I wanted to jump on early bandwagons and in the end I ended up with very poor Team Value. That's why I'm thinking of leaving some this time.

I've got 0,5m ITB and am quite comfortable with my squad as it is.

In my opinion it's a good thing to have at least some money ITB especially at the start of the season as almost everything we thought would happen can go sideways and that's when you need that extra little ITB to make some valuable transfers in the early GWs.

Asking that question after the match today means most will say Ozil. (Walcott seemingly unimpressive, taken off etc). This situation always happens after match days - very few posters will recommend the player who failed to score/assist or conceded.
