After delving into the Gameweek 5-8 data for Defenders yesterday afternoon, we now set our sights on the midfielders. Arsenal’s in-form duo arrive under analysis, whilst we also cast an eye over City and West Ham’s summer signings and analyse the recent displays of Southampton’s wide men as the fixtures turn in their favour.
-
2 good games coming up.
-
Are they being shown on TV?
-
On my tv both are. Depends what country you're in I guess.
-
Cheers Yoda.
-
UK but don't see any on listing.
Feck it is should probably sleep.-
You'll find out about an injury pretty quickly either way.
-
Totes
-
-
Probably on Premier Sports.
-
-
-
On TV in the states.
-
:O
-
😮
-
-
With Ray Hudson 🙄
-
-
-
West Brom v Sunderland
-
A bit early for relegation battles.
-
Never too early for Sunderland
-
New manager will save you again hopefully.
-
Fingers crossed allardyce brings some stability.
-
Panti is the only keeper to make 3 or more saves in every PL game so far this season. He needs protection.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Arian Foster is going ape tonight.
-
Bloody hope so.
-
-
Given I've already made my transfers this week, and as expected, my squad decorated with christmas lights (Diouf, Janmaat, Lens all injured/suspended), bench order is going to be very important for me.
How would you order these two on the bench:
1) O'Shea (wba) - Brom can't score and Sunderland can't keep a clean sheet
2) Souare (WHAM) - Papa has got me back to back clean sheets but West Ham are a goal machine.-
Sunderland defs always last.
-
Thanks.
-
-
-
Chile 3 Brazil 2 i reckon
Hopefully a classic 🙂 -
BPL players contribution tonight: Kolarov goal (Mitro ass), Long goal, Davis 2 goals, Fletcher goal, Ritchie goal+assist
-
Also Matic and Ivanovic subbed due to injuries, didnt seam serious though
-
Kolarov goal next weekend too would be nice.
-
You forgot to mention Randolph's assist!
-
missed it, and okazaki goal
-
And Mbokani goal, Martial assist, Cabaye goal
-
-
-
-
Please Ivanovic be injured for a long long time 😀
-
Typical Chelsea fan
-
I am just kidding (notice the 😀 at the end ) 😉
-
-
-
urm....
-
-
-
-
What happened him anyway?
-
"Reports suggest Ivanovic was subbed off with a hamstring problem for Serbia this evening "
(Scout tweets)-
Who will take his place now in the Chelsea squad?
-
Baba Abdul Rahman
-
Baba Abdul Rahman@0.0% ownership 😯
I like it you cant get a better differential than him anyway 🙂-
Baba is not very attacking tho , so no point in getting him over Azpi
-
Azpi is attacking ? i don't think so
-
Yes , very attacking as RB , LB does not do him justice
-
-
If that kid gets a few games and does ok it would be hard for Ivanovic to get back in the squad considering how bad his form has been
-
I hope so , but I have a cheeky feeling that Mou does not trust Baba and he will play Zouma
-
Baba is 5.8 😮 The appeal dissapears for me
-
He must be a decent player if he had a starting price of £6m
I don't know a thing about him i must scout him -
Great tackling stats but no attacking threat I am afraid
-
-
I have Azpi and am scratching my head for weeks on how to get rid of him. Keep getting injuries which leaves him in my side but he uses up so much of the budget while offering so little.
-
-
i'll do Azpi > Baba if Iva is out for a month
-
Well
-
-
-
-
i doubt it's that serious of an injury, but if it is, i suppose Rahman, with aspi on RB
-
I think Zouma
-
-

Begovic (DDG)
Kompany, Kolarov, Cresswell (Evans, Targett)
Payet, Mahrez, Ayew, Eriksen (Redmond)
Aguero, Martial, Ighalo
2.5 ITB
How do I get the right ballance in this team? Already done Pedro, Wilson > Eriksen, Ighalo this week.
GW10: Kolarov > Cheap def
GM11: Ayew > Big hitter
GM12: Bego > Cheap backup
Sounds like a plan?-
Sanchez is a must have.
-
Can he wait two rounds? Can't afford him
-
-
Cheap or good value? Kol or Kompany to SOU or EVE makes sense such as Bertrand or Jags. I prefer 4.5 starters such as Nyom, Francis even on the bench
Bego to Myhill or Gomes I would assume-
Cheap. Someone like Nyom/Francis. SOU def makes sense but I've got Cresswell already. Have to cut my costs in def
-
-
I'd do this hit for GW 9.
Kompany > Monreal/Bellerin-
Want to keep Kompany. Kolarov is a rotation risk, he has to go
-
Sure thing. I just prefer Kola because though he might get rotated I have decent back ups. Kompany is injured and injury prone.
-
Fair enough if you've got backup. Not doing a def hit this week anyway, think double up City will get a CS
-
-
-
-
-
If Alexis score tonight , i'll bring him in for a hit
-
lies
-
3 Transfers to get him in , so a hit defo
-
-
-
Sky Sports 1 everybody. The JJ Watt show is about to begin...
-
Chile Brazil is where it is at
-
Matt Hasselbeck's been in hospital all week and I fear he'll end up their again after this game.
-
Not been a great start for either team, but it should be an interesting contest.
-
A sick Hasselbeck vs Mallett.
Won't be a glamorous game and I suspect Foster and Gore will get a lot of touches tonight.-
Definitely. Though I expect the Texans to come out on top. Personally.
-
Agreed.
-
-
-
-
-
-
David Luiz has jarred his knee looks like he is finished

ROMERO
Mas OTAMENDI Garay Roncaglia
Biglia Masché Pastore
Di Maria AGUERO Correa-
What a miss by Kun
-
Back to his normal self 😉
-
-
-
Sanchez hits crossbar
-
*post
-
It would have been a screamer if he finished it
-
-
Alexis smashes it off the post
-
Kun Injured
-
Poo hamstring again
-
Useless run , Why Kun ?
-
Yah useless sprint to trigger a recurrent injury is disheartening
-
-
Doesn't look great.
-
yes :/ i knew it seeing him running like that
-
Changed channels and saw it too.
-
-
-
hes going to need a rest for he remainder of the international break probably. Hopefully he will be fit enough for bournemouth but with champions league looming, who knows how cautious pellegrini might be 🙁
-
seems more serious to me
-
-
😯 uh oh
-
Have fun on the WC. Might join you.
-
-
-
Aguero down, Tevez in for him
-
Hamstring by the looks of it
-
-
Might have to get the WC out.
-
Do. Not. Do. It.
-
I can spread the funds.
-
-
-
Just bought Iheanacho
-
*Costa
-
-
LOL!
We started a draft 2 days ago and the guy with the first pick was quite smug about getting KUN 🙂 -
Tevez on, Aguero off.
-
Jammy Hammy
-
Did he hobble off? Or stretchered?
-
Stretchered.
-
🙁
-
-
-
-
Aguero long-term injury.
-
How do you know?
-
Just causing havoc 😉 it wouldn't surprise me if he was out for a few weeks though. His hammy is made of glass.
-
😆
-
-
-
-
Time for a new captain poll.
-
Hazard (C) 😎
-
*de Bruyne
-
*Iheanacho 😉
-
-
-
-
Class Aguero
-
Oh crap I'm already on a -4.
-
All the casuals just got him in 🙁
-
I hope that Doos has not made his transfer yet
-
He did 😛
-
He made 3 transfers already
-
That's gotta hurt
-
-
Gameweek transfers = 3
-
He has. I think he's on a -8.
-
What a casual...
-
-
-
Kun's injury record is why team value is never as important as it should be.
-
Thank gawd I wasn't tempted to go early on my transfer
-
I was tempted but didn't even with a WC as backup.
-
Because of this injury; I'll be going with 3-5-2 now; Theo will be my fifth mid and Ighalo/Mitrovic will replace Kun.
-
-
This might make my wildcard worthwhile after resisting to use it since gw3
-
Really depends on the extent of the injury. If it's only a few weeks I wouldn't bother redistributing the funds elsewhere given that you'll want him soon enough.
-
-
Bony ?
-
Iheanacho
-
Sturridge or Costa?
-
Lukaku Pellé
-
-
-
I guess the Kun injury is a bit long term. Clutched his hammy and went down.
