If you are desperate then Payet but he has two plum fixtures. Doesnt look the same on the wing (fpl point wise).

I'm going without sanchez for now though.

Ok so got 2ft and a few things to mull over. Please can you give me your opinions?

Hennessey - thinking of selling for forster. Kaspar is my other keeper

Wollscheid - might be time to ship. Any ideas? Zouma perhaps? Williams?

Gosling - plenty of cash to upgrade so could get siggy with it. Benching headache though

Payet, ozil, lukaku - still planning to hold

          Lose 1 premium keeper
Cpl & wba defenders are basically useless - should be able to squeeze 1 premium and 1 bench fodder from them
Look to get in Sanchez instead of silva/ ozil

          Probably start with the defence

          Hope that helps

      not so wise eh? 😛

i'd say silva is ripe for being replaced. No major issues though.

Palace don't look like keeping a CS anytime soon so maybe ward to a southampton defender?

Firmino is certainly one of the template moves. Two plum fixtures but not sure i trust liverpool and they also have that blank in gw27. Are you happy benching three attackers that week? Otherwise you are committing yourself to another transfer. This is the main reason i am holding off him just now.

Bertrand looks a solid option. Nailed, good defence, solid run of fixtures and no blank currently.

I suppose it is excessive for the next two GW's. I'd go Williams purely because they have a chance of a CS next GW and you'll need to play him. Don't like Williams as a long term prospect, though.

I wouldn't say he was preaching, just coming up with a counter argument to not make things boring.

Unfortunately it didn't work out and he was quickly shown why you rarely back against Aguero. At least he wasn't subborn. Just didn't work out in the end 🙂

Come on now, he was loving telling everyone that with all the mid-priced players and the cash available, he could get in anyone he chose and play the fixtures and not worry about Aguero.

You only have to look at Andy who said from the get go that he wouldn't get Ozil in and he hasn't. So there is a difference between being stubborn and just sticking to your guns.

Anyway I hope that this whole thing gets mentioned tonight.

      2. MarkyMarkovic

I'm expecting him to continue picking up points.

true he hasn't really performed against LEI or TOT as you would expect (Is LVPL the third in GW28 due to the blank)

Normally Aguero does pretty well against TOT and the games against LEI and TOT are at home

If the third is against Liverpool, then they still seem pretty leaky so I'll not be removing him from the squad.

I'm sure Mark is big enough to make his own decisions these days.

I don't particularly get the not going to finish higher argument either - Mark has a decent HoF record, I'm sure he wants to keep that. Getting the best striker in the league usually helps.

Don't think anyone saw Vardy scoring a brace last night but was a bit unlucky on his part in the end when he specifically said he could see Vardy keeping pace

Does anyone actually care about a HoF record? I think people are aware Mark knows how to play the game without using an algorithm to do determine how good his record is.

Some people do yeah, think most people like to finish with as high a rank as possible. Personally I just want to win money.

I've not heard anyone talk about a HoF record on here other than Evs. Honestly I haven't. Money, yeah that's important 🙂

Triggerlips is another, but ignoring HoF people still like as high a finish as possible every season, which is essentially the same as your HoF record.

I guess that's why he brought Aguero in as he was starting to lose rank. Even if that meant a higher finish wasn't as possible.

I'm sure we'll find out tonight either way.

No one plays me for money anymore so my OR and HoF is all I have to play for.

Yep show me the money. I take much more satisfaction taking money off my mates and in some cases dinner (winner of one league chooses restaurant, all others pay, bottom of league has to buy drinks all night) than OR but that might be different if my OR wasn't so poor.

    Butland / Elliot

    AldeW Baines Bellerin Dunn (NonPlayingDef)

    Aguero Kane Lukaku

has there been a more comical CB pairing in the league than lovren and sahko? its like watching two guys on busted stilts try to play football

That Evans injury was extremely annoying yesterday. I know it's Evans and it's my fault for picking him etc..., but if only it could've happens 10 minutes later.

Those instances are easily the most annoying things in this game for me

    A, Butland to Forster
B, Ward to 4.9 def (possibly Wimmer)
    C, Lukaku to Vardy
    D, Save

Well, goes without saying, but do you not think Liverpool will concede also? Cresswell strong on BAPS and similar attacking threat and playing for a team in better form
