In a battle for supremacy at the summit, Manchester City welcome Leicester City to the Etihad. The Foxes are in the midst of a six-match unbeaten streak that started with their goalless draw in the reverse fixture, while the Sky Blues haven’t tasted defeat in seven outings.

Only two teams mustered more big chances (eight) over the last four Gameweeks than Leicester, who racked up seven goals during that period. It’s on the defensive end that Claudio Ranieiri’s troops were the most impressive, though, conceding the second-fewest goals (one), sixth-fewest shots inside the box (25) and fewest big chances (two).

Despite ranking third for attempts (61) and joint-fourth for goals (seven) since Gameweek 21, the Sky Blues recorded just 14 shots on target, engendering the worst shot accuracy (23%) of any team. On the flip side, Manuel Pellegrini’s men conceded just two goals and registered three clean sheets. Moreover, only two teams allowed fewer shots inside the box (24), while they placed joint-second-bottom with regards to big chances conceded (three).

We should have a hot topic debating whether Leicester could win the title!

      Why?

People on here give opinion to come back on and say I was right.

Doesn't matter how many they predict wrongly they still champion the one bit if crap they said that turns out to be right.

Of course they can. This GW result puts them favourites now with the bookies for the title though and I think the pressure could definitely get to them.

        Biggest discussion of the week.
Surprised it didn't get a mention in the Community Roundup.

That pass completion re: Leicester not winning the league is laughable.

Hands up if you have constantly stuck with keeping Mahrez since you first got him. ^('.')^ And double hands up if you have fortunately benched him those few times when he blanked (2 points and occasionally when 3 points) and fielded him the other times. ^('.')^ ^('.')^

This is my first benching mistake for Mahrez 🙁

I benched Simpson and fielded Kun and Mahrez (so glad for late Aguero goal despite offside). I had a hunch that Leicester and Mahrez would do well. And I predicted 2-1 which would have been correct if Leicester's goals only included Mahrez's contributions. Plus corner decision was incorrect.

It was Fuchs. He took the corner. Kante SHOULD only have the ONE assist for Mahrez's goal.

So Aguero captain didn't turn out to be that bad.

Just need Kane and Firmino to stay quiet

Got to laugh at Lukaku sellers. Deserve everything they're not getting.

Agreed. Still got some nice fixtures on the horizon. I was originally going to sell in the blank 27 for Vardy but with Villa and Sunderland in the following weeks I'm conflicted now
