    How many points is a wildcard and BB worth over a rival who has neither ?

    Lets asssume rival can field 11 dgw players, however unlikely ....

    Minimum should be 4 extra players twice, so thats 16 points if they do little/nothing. Realistically tho?

        I know, but unless I take 2/3 hits a week I'm not going to have 15. Will struggle to get 11.

        Having said that, I've realised it won't be completely pointless since I would still want to start someone like Mahrez over a DGW from a poor team.

      drifting along in the top 1K not really moving and I'm worried about my Watford defence but I don't think they're worth transfers when I only have 8 left.

                    Its tough to figure out as each league has its own pay structure - which I can't remember and there is no way of checking. But if I manage to stay where I am, it should be somewhere between 3-5k

      I've got loads of transfers left (20 I think) and i'm about 30,000th lol.
      not taken it seriously this year, concentrated on fpl, last couple of seasons I've been in the top 300.
      top 3k will be good this year!

        Its difficult playing multiple games. I tend to take more punts in FPL because I take it less seriously... Not doing very well!

          going back a year or two I always played the sky game much more seriously than fpl, mainly as that was the one my mates played, had a league etc etc.
          but this year I've been the original casual in sky and mainly just focused on fpl, still not doing as good as I wanted to here (currently 77k) but not so bad

            I have done the opposite, took fpl way more seriously last few years. Then I discovered how much money you can make in Sky 😉

            Strangely, I find FPL much more enjoyable now I'm not doing so well and don't take it to seriously. Its also a lot closer with my mates, which makes it more fun somehow

              two of the things I like about the sky game are that

              1) you can make transfers from sat to sun
              2) you at least know who's playing the first game

              I know there's no subs like in fpl but for whatever reason I don't think I've ever benefited from the sub rule - either all 11 play and one of my subs explodes (waste) or I put the subs in the wrong order and get 1 or 2 extra

                Sky is far from perfect but its better for the more serious player - If you give it your full attention and get your head around the rules its not hard to do well.

                Agree on the subs, never seem to get those right in FPL

                  over the space of 6 weeks I left around 110 points on the bench - really starts to grate after a while!

                  mahrez bench (only ever time) got 15
                  payet bench got 15
                  alli bench got 12

                  drives you mad!

                  but yeah I agree with sky you can steal a march on others simply by working the captaincy changes well and making transfers in between days.

                  fpl is great, love it, but in theory you can put out an 11 in gameweek 1 and if you're lucky with form/injuries never change it and in head to heads you very often find yourself against an obvious non serious player who invariably has aguero capt

                    You feel my pain, my friend. Total of 338 benched points for me so far this season, average 11.6 points per week. Had a stretch that went 15, 27, 18, 11, 5, 16, 11, 13, 9, 16 where Butland and Gomes alternated clean sheets and bonus and I guessed wrong every week.

                    GW25 I scored 60 with 36 (THIRTY SIX!) on the bench.

                      259 for the season me. that 6 week period was ridiculous it was uncanny, even the week I played bench boost I think the subs were worth 25.

                      don't want to sound all 'woe is me' but everyone in my mini leagues seem to benefit from autosubs I never do

                        Oh 100%, I get so happy when I see my rivals players not playing, but it seems that every time they get a super sub. The guy behind me had Huth's huge haul auto-subbed on, and out of the 4 or 5 autosubs I've seen them get they've all had returns.

                        I on the other hand, always have the player come on late like Alli the other week for a 1 pointer. Just gotta hope it evens out eventually.

    I know its been a crazy year, It just feels good to finally be moving in the right direction.
    I didnt have the biggest score this week, I people broke 100 etc, but 79 felt good!

    Hmmm, GW rank increased by about 4k to approx 26,500, but OR went down by about 500 spots.
    Guess that serves me right for benching Payet and having 23 pts from 3 players on the pine.
