I have, and prefer, Silva. He is more central to the man city attack. Yaya can score though. Yaya also cheaper.

Ditch old Cedric for a hit? He's generally not missed back to back games, however Saints seem such a streaky side and they've hit upon a bad spell so even if he plays I'm not expected a lot.

I'd most likely be bringing in Daniels or some kind of City cover.

I've got ten for next week with Cedric, plan on shipping out Payet for the 11

  13. Hurricane Gilbert

How are Payet and Özil (if Arsenal blank) owners thinking about next GW? Are you planning to ship one of them, and in that case, for who? Or would you rather play 4-3-3, bench both players, and save that transfer?

    1. Robben Mee Blind
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member
      • 11 Years

Will probably ship Payet for 2 gwks (for Siggy) but keep Ozil as I've got lots of value tied up in him

    2. matiakez
      • 14 Years
      9 years, 9 months ago

was set on losing Payet but yesterday has made me reconsider a little, but playing catch-up think there's more to gain that settling for 4-3-3..

      1. Hurricane Gilbert
        • 9 Years
        9 years, 9 months ago

Yeah exactly. 4-3-3 doesn't feel optimal at all from a chasing position. I'm tempted by getting Eriksen in for Payet and play Eriksen until WC in GW33, as I'm pretty sure that Eriksen will get more points than payet during those games.

    3. BadgersBoys
      • 12 Years
      9 years, 9 months ago

Payet > Siggy/Yaya/Erikson etc. Benching Ozil, hoping Arsenal blank to avoid benching headache. Playing 3-4-3

      1. Hurricane Gilbert
        • 9 Years
        9 years, 9 months ago

Yeah I agree on this. If you WC in GW33 you can get Antonio/Payet for WHU cover.

    This is my current team

    Forster, Myhill
    Kompany, Fuchs, Wollschied, Ward, Daniels
    Mahrez, Ozil, Payet, Alli, Arnie
    Kane, Vardy, Aguero

£2,3 in the bank and 2 free transfers.
which of these plans do you like?

    A) Get in a third City player, they are about to mount their title charge
    B) Get in a Spurs defender, gameweek 30 needs all the points it can get
    C) Get Firminho, he has become essential
    D) fix Myhill or something else because I have 11+ players for GW30

On the off chance anyone follows horse racing..
Thoughts on Richard Johnson vs Paul Townend in fantasy cheltenham?

    1. George Sillett
      • 10 Years
      9 years, 9 months ago

I would be more tempted by Townend. I think he will overall have better rides. Not as enthused by the festival this year , I think the power of the Mullins stable has made a number of races unattractive as a betting proposition. I was keen on Elliotts No More Heroes until I read McCoy reckoning More of That is his Nap for the meeting . Going with Altior , My tent or yours and Don Cossack as my main bets. Also backed the Druids Nephew 6 months ago AP for the national.
      What are your fancies?

        Sorry just seen this!
I am going to look through all the races and see what kind of second string Mullins horses Townend can expect, but I think you are probably right.
I am liking the look of Gordon Elliotts Noble Endeavour, not sure which race he will put him in yet.
I am with you for the Don to win the Gold Cup, although it is seriously competitive this year.
