      I was hoping no one would post this up :). Essentially yes, but I think it's more complicated. It then becomes a combination of the best fixtures for your extra bench players compared to other game weeks, and also it might still be of value if you hang on to players like Kane, Mahrez etc, allowing you to play them, offering some protection against high ownership scoring.

    Am I the only one who think that everyone is putting too much weight on the value of a BB in DGW?

    Regardless of whether you have 15 DGW players or just 11, ultimately only a few are going to hit the points in that week..To expect all 15 or even more than 5 to get big points would be delusional...
    And people without BB will also keep the players most likely to hit it big in their playing XI..

    Which is why I think the expectation that people are going to chase down leads of 50-100 points quite misguided...Sure you'll score more, but not a shitload more..

      It's 4 extra players but not 4 extra 'great' players - budgets will dictate that. So I'd agree, it will be an advantage, but 50 points is a bit of a stretch.

        I'm currently leading my mini league without a BB and I'm fairly confident I can hold off my rival who's 51 points behind me with a BB in hand..I know if I play my cards right, I can limit the point difference significantly...

      Yup it will be like winner the lottery if all 15 of your DGW players hit the points in that week. Having 15 DGW players does however increase your chances of having the players that do.

        I agree with that..the probability of having the big hitters is more with BB..ultimately boils down to chance and your budget...
        Having said that, I don't see the DGWs being high scoring in terms of goals..teams will be tired..Expect cautious football from most of them..

      The average score for a benh boost has been 15. So it stands to reason the average would be around 25 to 30 on a double. Powerful, but you'll have to hit the jackpot to get 50 plus
