Fresh from a morale-boosting win over Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-finals, Everton return to Premier League action with a home tie against Arsenal. The Gunners arrive at Goodison Park in dreadful form, having tasted victory just once in their last eight outings.

Looking at their previous four matches, Everton ranked joint-third for goals (eight), second for attempts (72) and top for big chances (16), underlining their recent potency in the final third. Moreover, only Manchester City have accrued more home goals (39) than the Toffees (29) throughout the campaign. On the flip side, no team at home has conceded more goals (26) or recorded fewer clean sheets (two).

In their previous quartet of league encounters, Arsenal fared pretty well on the attacking front, notching seven goals and placing top for shots inside the box (49). The Gunners’ defence failed to hold up their end of the bargain, though, shipping the fourth-most goals (eight) and third-most big chances (nine). As for their away form, the North Londoners rank second for goals (27), big chances (35) and shots on target (74), further diminishing Everton’s clean-sheet potential.

He is a flat track bully. I got him in for the fixtures in 28/29 -- someone posted an article, Rakkhi maybe, that he was one of the most consistent performers as far as meeting expectations against weaker teams -- but I'm a bit hesitant for gw 34 now.

He's scored plenty against the big boys this season, and I recall lots of people complaining at the start of the season (with reference to previous years) that he was a troll because he would fail in the easy games than grab a haul against the bigger teams

I thought this as well but the goals haven't been there in the FPL against United, Arsenal, Chelsea, City, iirc. He did score against a pre pizza Leicester, but in general he has scored against weaker teams.

Really depends if you are going 2 defenders or attackers. I am really not sure which I will go for, but will be getting 3 Arsenal-players for sure. Bellerín is set, and most likely will stay with Özil. Then it is Koscielny versus Welbeck for the last spot it seems.

How's this for a DGW34 WC team? Isn't a complete shambles for GW35 and can easily get 11 DGW37 players for no hits.

    DDD, Elliot
    Bellerin, Sagna, Rojo, Cresswell, Sahko
    Sanchez, Payet, Firmino, Milner, Antonio
    Kun, Lukaku, Wellbeck

    1.8M ITB

I know, need to see if Wellbeck keeps his starting place, but think if he does, this could work nicely.
