Toby Alderweireld recovers from a stomach bug in time for Tottenham’s trip to Anfield. Arsenal’s Petr Cech remains a doubt, James Tomkins returns for West Ham, whilst Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino is still struggling with a hamstring problem.

Toby Alderweireld has fully recovered from the illness that forced him to miss out for Belgium in midweek. Mauricio Pochettino also revealed that Jan Vertonghen is “very, very close” to being available, whilst Erik Lamela –who picked up a knock during the break – will be assessed once he arrives back from a long-haul flight.

Yohan Cabaye, Mile Jedinak and Emmanuel Adebayor are all doubts for Palace’s trip to Upton Park. Connor Wickham looks set to miss out again but could be in contention for next week, according to Alan Pardew.

Aston Villa caretaker boss Erik Black has revealed that the club are currently conducting an internal investigation. Whilst this is underway, Gabby Agbonlahor won’t be available for selection.

Younes Kaboul, Wahbi Khazri and Lamine Kone are all fit for Sunderland’s home clash with West Brom. Billy Jones is doubtful due to a minor knock, whilst DeAndre Yedlin will be assessed after arriving back late from international duties.

Reports in the local press suggest that Roberto Firmino remains a big doubt due to a hamstring problem, with the Brazilian again failing to train yesterday. Christian Benteke also missed out, though Divock Origi and Philippe Coutinho both took part in the session, with the latter showing no ill-effects from a long-haul flight back fro South America.

Andre Ayew misses out once again as Swansea make their way to the Britannia. Jefferson Montero and Modou Barrow will be assessed after long-hauls flights back from international duties but are expected to be available.

Eddie Howe is optimistic on Josh King and Harry Arter’s fitness after both pulled out of international duties over the last fortnight.

Petr Cech remains uncertain to return in time for Arsenal’s home clash with Watford, though the keeper is back in training today. Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini remain sidelined, though both have a chance of returning next weekend, according to Arsene Wenger.

James Tomkins is available for West Ham’s home encounter with Palace. James Collins and Sam Byram are both “progressing well”, according to Slaven Bilic, but remain sidelined for the weekend.

John Stones has shrugged off a knock in time for Everton’s trip to Old Trafford on Sunday. Roberto Martinez has also revealed that Bryan Oviedo is available after recovering from a chest infection, whilst Kevin Mirallas is also back in the fold after serving a two-match ban.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Wich three (or four with a keeper) would you keep in the team if WC next week but no BB left?

    Elliot* - Butland*
    Toby - Cook - Simpson - Ivan - Williams
    Sanchez - Alli - Arnie - Mahrez - Payet
    Kane - Vardy - Kun

I`ll keep the four you said. I`m on top of my leauge, but if I keep both Kane & Mahrez, I`ll have to go 4-4-2 in gw 34 to field 11 DG players.

    why no love for Barkley?

i know he has a lot of blank lately but he is still 4th high scoring mid in game

he is 100% nailed , on some set pices and very atacking + well capable of explosive returns

add there back to back dgws and cheap price and you have true ,,casuals'' differential

he is nailed on for my WC team

same goes for Bolasie as punt

    WC midfiled : Ozil , Barkley , Payet , Firm/Cout and Bolasie

forget 1-0 lei players and mahrez....

Barkley has 0 form and Mahrez is the top point scoring player this season, and has had attacking returns in most of those 1-0 victories

I'm going to find room for Barkley if I can afford him, if not I'll gamble on Lennon. Lukaku is a necessity...

Agree with Bolasie too, always has explosive potential

    WC team
    robles - darlow
    bellerin - gabriel - sacko - rojo - reid
    lennon - ozil - coutinho - payet - mahrez
    lukaku - rashford - aguero

coutinho > firmino when fit (33/34 hopefully)
    rashford > kane 35
    payet > alli 35
    kane > lukaku 36

possibly sturridge for rashford but worried about minutes. feel like i have to go now as lost cech and elliot to injury so no keeper this week!

Posted in the DZ last night, 3-3 so far.

    Captain...

    A) Sanchez - Showing signs of building some form. Watford are very poor atm and Arsenal will want revenge for knocking them out the FA Cup.

    or

    B) Payet - Fresh from his France call up and awesome performance, full of confidence. Also playing a poor out of form opposition.

Sanchez for me. Fella has been looking really good all it takes is for things to start falling into place. Watford at home is the perfect opportunity to do so.

Palace are a banana skin team right now. I feel Pardew is being coy on team news because he knows this is an important game.

I don't have Sanchez so am captaining Payet but would swap if I did have both.

    Cech - Robles

    Smalling - Bellerin - Janmaat - Sakho - Simpson

    Ozil - Payet - Coutinho - Mahrez - Bolaise

    GW34 - Bolaise -> Wijnaldum

    I think this will be the one;

    GW32 WC
    Robles - Darlow
    Rojo - Bellerin - Janmaat - Clyne - Sakho
    Ozil - Sanchez - Payet - Bolasie - Barkley
    Lukaku - Aguero - Wickham

    GW34 - 2FT - 15 DGW for Bench Boost
Barkley & Bolasie > 14.1m combo (Lallana & Nasri / Firmino & Sissoko etc. Got some flexibility)

    GW35
Wickham > Defoe giving me an XI

Think that's the best I'm going to get. Feel free to give it both barrels.

    Sakho, Bellerin, Rojo, Reid, Simpson

Yeah gd idea. Everton quite inconsistent is the problem. Did you wildcard this GW to give yourself this triple captain choice? I'm not sure whether to wait..

Ok cheers so 4 is probably the average, I have 1 so far and I'm playing a late WC so on FT's I can make 4 in total... That'll do..

When Firmino is fit, is it likely to Lallana will be out of the first 11?

He's been pretty regular hasn't he?

I don't think anyone is nailed in that Liverpool attack with so many games mind.
