Toby Alderweireld recovers from a stomach bug in time for Tottenham’s trip to Anfield. Arsenal’s Petr Cech remains a doubt, James Tomkins returns for West Ham, whilst Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino is still struggling with a hamstring problem.

Toby Alderweireld has fully recovered from the illness that forced him to miss out for Belgium in midweek. Mauricio Pochettino also revealed that Jan Vertonghen is “very, very close” to being available, whilst Erik Lamela –who picked up a knock during the break – will be assessed once he arrives back from a long-haul flight.

Yohan Cabaye, Mile Jedinak and Emmanuel Adebayor are all doubts for Palace’s trip to Upton Park. Connor Wickham looks set to miss out again but could be in contention for next week, according to Alan Pardew.

Aston Villa caretaker boss Erik Black has revealed that the club are currently conducting an internal investigation. Whilst this is underway, Gabby Agbonlahor won’t be available for selection.

Younes Kaboul, Wahbi Khazri and Lamine Kone are all fit for Sunderland’s home clash with West Brom. Billy Jones is doubtful due to a minor knock, whilst DeAndre Yedlin will be assessed after arriving back late from international duties.

Reports in the local press suggest that Roberto Firmino remains a big doubt due to a hamstring problem, with the Brazilian again failing to train yesterday. Christian Benteke also missed out, though Divock Origi and Philippe Coutinho both took part in the session, with the latter showing no ill-effects from a long-haul flight back fro South America.

Andre Ayew misses out once again as Swansea make their way to the Britannia. Jefferson Montero and Modou Barrow will be assessed after long-hauls flights back from international duties but are expected to be available.

Eddie Howe is optimistic on Josh King and Harry Arter’s fitness after both pulled out of international duties over the last fortnight.

Petr Cech remains uncertain to return in time for Arsenal’s home clash with Watford, though the keeper is back in training today. Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini remain sidelined, though both have a chance of returning next weekend, according to Arsene Wenger.

James Tomkins is available for West Ham’s home encounter with Palace. James Collins and Sam Byram are both “progressing well”, according to Slaven Bilic, but remain sidelined for the weekend.

John Stones has shrugged off a knock in time for Everton’s trip to Old Trafford on Sunday. Roberto Martinez has also revealed that Bryan Oviedo is available after recovering from a chest infection, whilst Kevin Mirallas is also back in the fold after serving a two-match ban.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

With some of the Sunderland back line coming back from injury will this affect Kirchhoff? Or is he as nailed as PVA?

He's also bap magnet apparently, not so sure you'd want him just yet though. Alright for a gw37 punt but no more IMO

Going to WC this week so has a decent 32, 34, 36 before his double.

Only issue is that Sunderland rarely keep clean sheets so his BAPS will be reduced surely? Maybe PVA is the way to go but then limits my potential Liverpool mid transfer.

Yeah, only really comes into it if they keep the CS.

Personally, I'd avoid them all, I'd much rather go with someone like Simpson

Needed someone that plays in GW35 and for £4.3m there arent really any alternatives, already got Simpson. Saves a transfer for 37 anyway.

Be tempted to look at PvA, who I'm definitely getting in on WC33 for the rest of the year 🙂 - Sunderland have been poor defensively so the only thing that might be worthwhile is a defender with a significant attacking upside!

    Who would you bench?

    A) Silva
    B) Sigurdsson
    C) Alli
    D) Vardy

And who would you bring in as a replacement for Hart (I am WCing in GW33)?

    1) Adrian
    2) Courtois

This is what I am on currently (B1). Swansea are now safe, so not sure how much they have to play for anymore.

As for GKs it would have been a lot easier if Cech was 100% nailed this GW. What is kind of starting to lean me towards Courtois is how money of the attacking players that actually could do some damage from Aston Villa that are out (at the same time this is also the case for Crystal Palace).

Pool have Dortmund inbetween games in DGW 34. Flanno is not registered in the Europa league and Klopp likes him. Flanno is a natural right back but played pretty much a full season at left back before his injury.
Both Moreno and Clyne are more likely than not to be subject to rotation.
Mignolet and Sahko are the (boring) two that should play every game.

Any views on this wildcard team for gw33, bb34?....chasing 70 points or so in mini leagues but I'm only one with the chips...

    Robles darlow
    Dann Gabriel sakho Reid Simpson
    Ozil payet mahrez bolasie firmino
    Kun kane lukaku

This gives me 4 dgw in 33

Week 34 would be dann and bolasie to bellerin and milner for a hit....giving me 12dgw players and a full 11 for gw35

    How does it look?...thanks

    Cech / Robles
    Smalling / Otamendi / Dann / Sakho / Simpson
    Sanchez / Payet / Bolasie / Iwobi / Mahrez
    Kun / Lukaku / Kane

    .7 ITB

Possible 34 transfers based on form:
    Kane > Studge
    Bolasie > Milner
    Iwobi > Lanzini
    Mahrez > Cout/Firm

I don't think the AOA chip has proved its worth this year. It needs quite a specific set of circumstances to become useful, and most decent FPL players do well to avoid those circumstances in most cases. I burned mine in GW1 and thought I might regret it, but actually it's been no loss.

    Hiddink:

Pato will be involved in the squad tomorrow and the remaining eight games might be a time for some experimentation

Eden Hazard is not available this weekend. Diego Costa is back training well but is suspended.

There's going to be about a zero chance of getting a straight answer from LVG about Rojo's smoking at the presser today isn't there.

Glad I didn't wildcard this week now. Wanted Firmino, Elliot and Wickham and now doubts and outs everywhere. Need to reassess during the week. BB GW34 and TC GW37 it is then.

Yes i'm regretting it now, so many doubts.

The Wickham thing has left me a little perplexed and perhaps in need of another reshuffle, so difficult though with naff all cash.

What to do this week? Have 1FT 0.4ITB

Thinking about doing Eriksen to Payet but if Hart is out this week Is Eriksen to Payet worth a -4 or Eriksen to Payet for free and Play Hennessey?

    Hennessey-Hart
    Daniels-Williams-Smalling-Fuchs-Dawson
    Arnie-Eriksen-Mahrez-Alli-Ozil
    Kane-Vardy-Aguero

One FT going begging. Any ideas what to use it for. Zip ITB.

McCarthy>Darlow and play instead of Forster
    King>Lingard first sub
Nyom>Sakho and play instead of Wimmer

doesn't really assure confidence that does it?
